Question:
Will the plastic casement scratch my chrome mirrors on my 2011 Tundra Platinum?

Expert Reply:
The only portion of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror # CM11302 that will touch the front of your mirror is the wedge, and will have a layer of felt on it to prevent scratching and marring.
However, it is still recommended that you wash your mirrors and apply a thin layer of wax to help ensure nothing scratches your mirrors. If you plan on leaving the # CM11302 for extended periods of time you will want to remove it periodically to wash the mirror to prevent any dirt from getting in between the felt and the chrome of your mirror.
The matching driver side mirror is the # CM11301, or you could order them as a pair which is part # CM11300.
