Great product. Great customer service. To explain ... I loosened the three screws to adjust one of the ball and socket joints. It never retightened properly. However after contacting them, etrailer took care of it and sent another mirror. Also, when on my 2011 Jeep grand cherokee the straps made loud humming type noise above 50mph or so. They had a suggestion of adding foam. So, with all that said, after getting the replacement mirror, modifying my adjustment method for a good view, modifying how I mounted the mirrors (moved the adjustment bracket for lower support) ... the hum is all but gone and the mirrors don't go out of adjustment when traveling down the road. Learned tips I would like to pass along.
- adjust the side to side mirror adjustment by loosening hex nut then retighten. Don't loosen the ball/socket joint if at all possible.
- adjust the up/down adjustment by slightly tilting the mounting angle of the whole mirror. I didn't have to do much.
- etrailer, I suggest you put a copy of the online directions for these in the shipping box. The ones in the factory box are not as good.
I like these because they were the among the few that go out far enough on my Jeep Grand Cherokee to properly look down the side of my 8ft wide RV travel trailer. I the kind that strapped on my mirrors helped but we're not nearly as good. The Jeep isn't as wide as a pickup.

by:

Looks like these will work just fine I’ll be towing a medium size camper, with my 2018 Colorado pickup. Definitely improves my visibility. Didn’t have a wide enough view, to safety maneuver with factory mirrors. Pretty easy to install too.

by:

Best made mirrors I can find nowadays, so I can see past our 7’6” wide travel trailer when it's behind our Jeep Wrangler. TIP: For a bit tighter fit, after the mirrors are in place on my doors and tightened down, I place a 3/4” thick piece of polystyrene foam between their pad and my door. Seems to really snug the straps up.

by:

This was an excellent purchase and product!
Great
quality as it stays in place!
Simply stated they stay put with no vibration at towing speed and very little if any vibration at passing speeds.
It is extremely easy to install and take off in minutes.
Holds its position once set.
In short, if needed again I would purchase it again!
I highly recommend it for that added viewing for safe towing, combined with the factory mirror there are no blind spots for lanes and turning!
Installed on a 2003 Ford Explorer Limited
As simple maintenance tightened all adjustments and screws as it extends past your vehicle and gets hammered by the wind.
This is a simple check and tightening that takes a total of 2 minutes with very minimal effort.
It is an excellent product, and happy to share the review.

The same fantastic

by:

I use the product to provide rear visibility while towing a single car enclosed trailer. Good points: the mirrors are reasonable quality and once you get the set up right, the mirrors are easy on early off.
Other points: the build quality is so-so. I have lost several fasteners that have worked loose and the design produces noticeable wind noise inside the vehicle. Also, the mirrors vibrate and tools are required to attach the mirrors securely. I’ll be looking for new mirrors next season.

by:

I own an 06 GMC Canyon and I infrequently trailer a 23’ boat. I purchased the mirrors after my first boat trailering experience. As it pertains to rear view vision the original equipment mirrors left much to be desired and making a lane changes was an adventure. With these mirrors I have improved rear view vision and a higher level of confidence while making my infrequent boat trailering trips. Installation was easy even for an all thumbs guy like me.

by:

It was barely sufficient for the purposes we had. The glass was much too small, especially the passenger side, to see along the 30' foot trailer. It was also very difficult to tighten securely (vibrated too much to see much detail except to know of a vehicle was in the next lane). Also, the straps down the door left permanent scuff marks on the paint. I used them for over 10,000 miles, so they worked - but as soon as we got home, they went to the thrift store. Maybe they'll work better on a car with a small trailer.

by:

Was unable to find locally!! Speedy delivery, easy to install and work perfectly for what they will be used

by:

Easy to install and remove. Once set and adjusted it only take a few minutes to remove and install.

by:

Installed on my FIL's van (1999 Dodge Ram Van 2500) for towing a 23' trailer... easy on, easy off; though the passenger side mirror has been so useful, he's kept that one on even when not towing!

by:

These mirrors solved my dilemma over not wanted to drills holes in my door, for aftermarket mirrors.
They are easy to install, mounts on and off in seconds. Perfect for being able to see behind my trailer over stock mirrors. Only bugaboo, is because
they are not bolted on, they become fuzzy and shaky over 50 mph.. But
it's better than drilling holes in doors.. No need to remove stock mirrors,

by:

They seem to be strong! Pulling a trailer l have went to auto parts store they had those plastic kind, but the sales guy said save your monie. I knew l needed side mirrors that would stay on!!
Well l got them. I feel my stress levels going down l know l can drive and see around the trailer much better.. And they came early
Thank You!! I will shop with you again.. Happy Costumer here

by:

These are the best mirrors I’ve ever owned. I have had two other types before them. They are strong, sturdy, and very adjustable. If something did happen to them, I would not hesitate to buy them again.

These mirrors were still working great when I got rid of them. I bought a new truck that had extending mirrors on them, so I don’t need these anymore.

by:

I have an H3 hummer and I am towing a 24ft tri toon that is 102 inches wide These mirrors work great allowing me to see down both side of the boat . They arrived in 3 days from E Trailer .

by:

Mirrors are very stable, minimal vibration. Give good view of the trailer and adjacent lane.

remains solid and stable. Now worries about it bouncing off or beocoming loose.

by:

The customer service went above and beyond to help me find just the right product. I have an toyota fj cruiser. The mirrors are weirdly shaped after a few tries with different towing mirrors, these work the best!!!

by:

Everything we purchased from etrailer is great Very happy Will order again from Etrailer highly recommend

by:

I am very happy with the trailer mirrors, good quality and easy fit. Arrived on time and in good condition.

by:

Product is just as described. I wanted a pair of removable Sideview mirrors for towing my 8 foot rv. I believe it will perform well.

by:

Passenger side mirror moves when semi truck pads by.
Knocking it out of balance

by:

I was very surprised that my mirrors arrived so soon. I was expecting a wait of at least a week. upon receiving them I installed them to make sure they fit correctly. They went on as advertised and were easy to install. I am very impressed with the expediency of the shipping process.

by:

Great product, tried it out the other day and it worked fine. fast shipping.

by:

Item was exactly as described and worked just like we needed it to. Instructions were clear and installation was easy. Good quality for the price. Would definitely recommend it.

by:

Just what I needed as I just had my driver's side mirror broken while camping and needed something to see pulling My travel trailer home.

by:

Product was shipped very fast and was packaged very well. Will always use Etrailer!!!

We have 2 different universal towing mirror options that match the description you are looking for to add to your 1978 GMC C/K Series Pickup. The CIPA Door-Mount Mirrors # CM45000-2 have 2 arms that mount to the side of the door while the CIPA Door-Mount Mirror # CM41000 uses a different 2-arm system for mounting. Aside from that the only strap-on mirrors we have are the Wheel Masters Eagle Vision Universal Extendable Towing Mirrors # WM6600-2 or the CIPA Universal Deluxe Door-Mount Mirrors...

  • Towing Mirror for 2016 Ford Transit T250 with Large 13 x 8 OEM Mirrors
Thank you for the photo of the OEM mirror on your 2016 Ford Transit T250. I added your quoted dimensions to the photo. Although we do offer clip-on towing mirrors made for taller mirrors, none is made to fit as tall a mirror as your 13-inch Ford mirrors. Part # CM11952 from CIPA is made for taller mirrors but its compatibility is limited to mirrors that are 7 to 10 inches tall. Since the Ford mirrors are pretty tall as OEM mirrors go, the aftermarket mirror companies figured there is not...

I have a solution for you, but there are not any power mirrors for your 2021 Ford Transit 250 at this time. Instead, I recommend going with the CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On # 11953. This universal mirror clips onto your factory mirrors as long as they are between 7" - 10" tall. This is for one mirror so you would need two for the pair. If your factory mirrors are not 7" - 10" tall then your other option is to install CIPA Universal Deluxe Door-Mount Mirrors # 11650-2....
