The Thule TracRac SR slides along the full length of the bed so you can position the uprights exactly where you need them. The rack glides in T-track base rails and locks in place with quick-release knobs—loosen to move it, tighten to secure it. When you need open bed space for tall gear, you can slide the rear rack forward or remove both uprights completely without tools. It’s a simple setup that works just as well for long ladders as it does for kayaks or lumber.

Built for serious hauling, this rack supports up to 1,250 lbs. The wide base on each upright keeps loads stable without extra bracing, so you can carry heavy planks, pipe, or jobsite equipment without worry. Four included load stops slide in the crossbar channels to keep your cargo locked in, and side-mounted cleats add more tie-down points for odd-shaped gear.

The elliptical crossbars are streamlined to cut down wind noise and drag. Each bar includes an airfoil trip strip that prevents that high-pitched whistle common with open-slot bars. The result is a quieter ride, even when the rack’s unloaded. The 69-1/2" bars also give you plenty of width for wider loads or accessory mounts that use standard T-slots.
Everything from the base rails to the uprights is made from lightweight, rustproof 6000-series aluminum. The dual-stage powder coat—an e-coat followed by a clear top layer—adds extra protection against scratches and corrosion. That means the rack stays tough through years of weather, road grime, and heavy use without losing strength or finish.
Installation is quick with no drilling required. The base rails mount directly into the stake pockets and sit securely on top of the bed rails. Foam padding under the rails cushions contact points, protecting the truck bed from scratches. Once mounted, the system forms a solid foundation for carrying gear while still allowing full access to the bed when you need it.
