Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Adarac Replacement Stake Pocket Insert. This is going to replace one stake pocket insert for your truck bed ladder rack, it's going to ensure that you have a nice solid connection there, it's going to fit into your truck bed stake pocket very snuggly and it will allow you to hold that up as you're getting it connected in place. Now, this is specifically designed for your Access Adarac truck bed ladder rack on your 1993 through 2013 Chevy or GMC 1500 or your 2001 through 2014 Chevy and GMC 2500 and 3500. It might also work for other applications, but those are the ones it was designed for, so if you are gonna use it for another application, might require some modification or something like that. But it is an aluminum construction, so it is gonna be rust proof and hold up well for you.
They do include the bolt that's gonna fit down into that washer to secure your ladder rack onto your truck bed. Just to give you a few measurements here, you can see that bottom most bracket is right about three inches in length and just a little over two inches in width. And our top pieces here, looking at approximately 2 1/2 inches by, call it 1 3/4 of an inch there. That'll be the same for both of those too. So if you are needing to replace a stake pocket insert for your ladder rack, especially the Access Adarac truck bed ladder rack that we showed on the screen there a moment ago, this is gonna be exactly what you need.

I ordered 4 of these, one for each stake pocket. All 4 packages had the same parts number, but 2/4 threaded spacers were of different size and thickness. I used a chop saw and grinder to resize the threaded spacers to fit my pockets and then fabricated 4 more regular spacers because the 2 in each package wasn’t enough to close the gap between the threaded spacer and the truck rail, causing my truck rail to bend and dent as I tightened the bolt.

Excellent well made product that does the trick of connecting a custom rail to my truck. However, it is designed for Chevy/GMC vehicles. The insert plates are too large for a Ford stake pocket and will need to be trimmed down to work.

Good product I would rate 5 stars if shipped with lock washers. I installed and checked tightness after a couple days. About a month later it rattled loose and fell down inside truck body. Now I will use locks, easy solution but pain in the butt and I had to purchase again since original is gone.

Product works great. I use this as an anchor for a ladder rack that I then use to carry 4 kayaks. It's a solid anchor and I've used it several times now that traveling as far as 4 hrs away. No issues
