Built to handle real weight, the Inno Tire Hold carries up to 60 lbs per bike with a total of two bikes. It's ready for e-bikes, carbon frames, and custom builds that need solid support. The aluminum body keeps total rack weight down to 48.6 lbs but stays rigid and corrosion resistant. With a 48" maximum wheelbase and tire widths up to 3", it holds modern mountain or road setups with ease.
The pivoting upright arms grab each bike firmly by the tires, not the frame. That means no contact with paint or carbon tubes, keeping finishes safe trip after trip. Ratcheting mechanisms lock the grips in place and release with one button for quick loading. Adjustable slots in the grips let you set the perfect fit for wheel sizes from 20" to 29".
You don’t have to unload to get to your gear. A front-mounted hand lever tilts the rack down even when fully loaded, giving full access to the rear cargo area. The same lever folds the rack up when unloaded, keeping it compact and out of the way for parking. The red indicator shows when it’s unlocked so you always know it’s secure when back in place.
A built-in hand knob at the base tightens the shank inside the hitch and deploys an anti-rattle wedge that kills movement. No tools, no extra parts—just twist until snug. The integrated stopper aligns the hitch pin hole automatically for fast repeat installs, and the removable sleeve lets it fit both 1-1/4" (Class II only) and 2" hitches.
The keyed hand knob locks the rack to the hitch, and a thick steel cable runs through both bike frames to secure them to the rack. One key works for both, keeping everything connected and protected wherever you park.

Pros: Perfect for avoiding frame damage. It clamps the bike by the wheels, not the frame - no scratches! Plenty of room for chunky MTB tires (mine are 29x2.6).
Cons: Hitch lock pin doesn't work/falls out. I added a few quick chain links to be safe.
Overall i would have to rate this purchase a disappointment. Product wise, i purchased this rack to to carry 2 standard 700 wheel size road bikes. The rack barely clamps down on the wheels but they do hold. The racks tilt option is not sufficient and it wont clear my rear hatch. I have to unmount the inner bike to get in the back of my car (not what is described in the ad video). since i didnt think this rack would work for my needs i contacted etrailer the day after i received it to see what my options were. I was told i could return the rack at my expense which was $xxx. Not very happy to pay xxx for a product thats not properly advertised. Im not trying to bag on etrailer since i just gave them a 5 star review on the hitch i purchased from them 5 day prior. Im just being honest so others can consider on the product itself and etrailers return policy. What makes all this so frustrating is that i ended up finding the same rack on [online store] for the same price with eligible free returns!! should have gone with [online store] since i dont have xxx+ dollars to throw away. Disappointed on this one etrailer!

When it comes to using a hitch mount bike rack, we highly recommend measuring before purchasing especially if it includes a tilt option. You will need to measure from the hitch pin hole of your hitch to the end of your bumper. Compare that with the hitch pin hole to closest point of bike rack measurement of the bike rack itself and that will give you an idea of if it will fit your car or not. For checking to make sure that the tilt option would be clear enough, we recommend measuring the hatchback itself during the opening process. Your best option if you are wanting to have access to the trunk, would be to use a swing-away rack option, like part # SAR36VR. This will swing completely out of the way of the hatchback.
This rack is the second hitch-mounted platform bike rack we purchased. The first had been difficult to use and more difficult to adjust even when we bought it; it became even more of a pain to use as it quickly accumulated surface rust over the winter. In contrast, neither my wife nor I have had any difficulty using the Inno Tire Hold Rack. We have carried multiple sizes of bicycle without a problem. We especially like the fact that the bikes can be moved to the left or right on the rack, allowing us to avoid having the handlebars of one bike get stuck on the saddle of the other. Best of all, the rack has stood up to continuous use in the Minnesota winter, and it is still functioning as well as when it was new. This is a great product!

We have been using the Inno Tire Hold Rack for a year now, and we still love it. It is very easy to use, and it has stood up to frequent use and harsh weather.
This rack is sturdy, easy to use, and I've had no problems with it in a year of use. I carry a 29in and a 26in mountain bike on it and both are snug and secure. It has three positions that it can be in and I find it pretty easy to load. It fits both 1.25 inch or 2 inch hitches (the adapter for 2 inch comes with it) and is easily tightened to fit the specific hitch and then locks in place. I'm very happy with this hitch and recommend it especially for carbon bikes which should never be put on a hanging rack.

Still Great!
Great way to haul around a pair of e-bikes. Bikes go on and off easily as does the carrier itself.
It's a great rack. Well designed.
Very Nice rack!! It feels sturdy and well made. My husband (74) and myself( 60) installed it very easily and quickly, After we were done it seemed a little wobbly, I called Customer Service , Spoke to Jessie, he was very helpful and knew exactly what the issue was, we just needed to tighten one screw- It folds up and down with one click . It's Perfect for us!
Love it but still would prefer a inside adjustable clamp but with pin that goes all the way through receiver on vehicle
It was time for a rack upgrade and I have a buddy who’s had an Inno Rack for a while now, and I always liked the set up. Ordered mine via etrailer and it actually delviered sooner than I expected. I love it. I should’ve ordered one a long time ago.
Super happy with this bike rack, safely fits two MTN Bikes, hold them securely on the highway and even on washboard dirt roads to the trailhead. The tilt functions are incredibly convenient. To top it all off the price was better and shipping was faster than on Amazon! Will shop here again!

Awesome rack! I have been running a variety of bike racks since the early 1990’s and this is the best one yet. Once setup for your hitch it only takes seconds to put on and take off. Easy load and unload, including a 50 lb e-bike. Be advised, it blocks the rear license plate when in up position (Lexus RX350h). Only reason for 4 stars is there’s always room for improvement,

Very well put together rack. I drive a Cadillac Lyriq (EV), like most EVs, is extremely quite. So the smallest noise will make me pull over and find what's rattling. I will say that there is absolutely zero noise from this rack, loaded or unloaded over 2 days of driving around town in stop and go traffic.
I have a 2" hitch, so after hand tightened the crank, then I used a crescent wrench to just nudge it to the next spot to allow the locking mechanism to snap in, this made it very solid, while eliminating any possible locations for rattles. The side pin, while not my favorite design, I had zero issues with it. The extra nudge from the wrench, along with it being locked at the crank made it feel extremely secure and I had complete peace of mind driving around with it and my bikes.
I think this is a great unit for the price, compared to others of the same design.
I would have given 5 instead of 4 stars but the safety key for attaching to hitch was a big headache! My partner and I tried for over an hour. I finally got it to go in hitch hole but it was a big struggle. Why not have a more simple method of a safety pin key that will go all the way through hole?
Otherwise, the rest of the rack was easy to install and it works great! Mountain and road bikes are stable on it.
Exactly what I needed! Aside from the lack of locking abilities via a hitch pin (which I was well aware of) this thing fits the bill. Solid and sturdy! I’m not sure I would leave the carrier or bike on for prolonged periods or in sketchy areas due to the provided locking mechanisms but it does just what it should!
Makes loading and unloading your bike a breeze. No messing with tire straps, frame locking do-dads or any other type of nonsense. Just throw the bike on, ratchet down the tire lock arms and you are good to go. The whole things tilts down so you can get access to your trunk. I have this on a Tesla Model 3 and I have no problems accessing my trunk with a bike in the closest position to the car. The trays fold up when not in use.
Great communication from etrailer great service if only UPS was 10% as good… multiple tracking numbers, confusing, cryptic notes… rack was sent back to vendor on two different tracking numbers. Said it was delivered when it wasn’t then another tracking notice a day later saying will be delivered in a couple days. Finally arrived and it is a solid noise free rack that is a better quality than the Thule I have on my truck.A+ for etrailer and the rack... ups not so much.
Easy to assemble. Just need to find yourself a [online] video as I didn’t find any assembly instructions. This is my first platform hitch rack. I initially wanted the Thule Helium but based on measurements from the hitch hole on my 2022 Subaru Legacy, the Helium would not be able to be folded up. I was able to easily place 2 bikes on the rack. I would say based on feel that it’s strong and sturdy and looks nice on the rear of my car. I look forward to using this rack in the future.
Loved it so much we ordered it twice! We had our first rack 3 years and re-ordered after we were rear ended and the rack was damaged.
Our e-bikes go on and off easily- assembly was easy.
We have a 2020 Toyota Highlander and this rack works beautifully - in the photo I have blacked out our license plate state and number. I put reflective stickers on the rack tire holder bar, as our back license plate is maybe difficult to see with the bikes in place. We wouldn’t need to, but we also remove our bike batteries to lighten the load and reduce road and weather spray during our 1,900 mile trips.
We LOVE that the bikes tip away so we can access the tailgate without removing the bikes!! Best bike rack ever.
Overall excellent quality, easy to use and install. We’ve used this regularly for the past year with ease! 4 stars because we’d prefer that it had a standard 2 inch hitch instead of the 1 1/4 inch with adapter. This would remove the little wobble factor which bugs my husband. I had to remove my cute rear bike fender because of the way the tire clamp arm attaches to the tire. If that could attach at a lower point on the tire I would be stoked!
There was a couple things I did not like about this rack. First was how it does not have a pin or a lockable pin that will go all the way through the hit receiver. I do not like the push and turn pinned that can vibrate and turn and come out. We were able to tighten it up with the knob and lock it, but still would rather have a through pin that I could lock. Overall, we really like the rack except for this pen and it doesn’t seem to be quite high enough for our mountain bike 28 inch wheels. And when the wheel holders are folded all the way down, they can vibrate and they don’t latch tight.. the third thing I have a problem with is that I bought a hitch from a trailer for my 2025 Subaru outback. And when I insert this rack, it actually pushes up against the bumper which will vibrate and mark up the bumper. I wish it was adjustable to be able to slide it out away from the bumper a little bit. These are the three major problems that I’ve had with it but other than that, we liked the rack. Feel free to call me and I can send you pictures.
This Inno bike rack was very easy to assemble. Probably spent 30 minutes on it reading the instructions very carefully. Now that I’ve done one and I could probably install the next one in 15! It looks great on my RDX.
This is the second Inno rack I have owned. The quality of this rack is top notch. Etrailer has been a company I can confidently say work hard to keep customers happy. My bike rack arrived on time as quoted.
