Question:
I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra - without a hitch installed yet - and I am interested in getting either the Inno Tire Hold 2-Bike Platform Rack or the Kuat 2,0 Sherpa 2-bike Hitch Rack. I watched your reviews, but Im still undecided between the two. First of all, I need to get a hitch installed - I assume that a 1 1/4 size is correct for my car? Im not familiar with how the class 1, 2, and 3 work. Of course, I need a rack that is compatible with my car. I am also looking for a platform rack that is relatively easy to install, able to be tilted, doesnt touch the frame, and with a good lock for both the rack and the bikes. I realize that choosing a rack is a personal choice, but I am feeling stuck on which of the two racks to choose - or maybe there is another rack you would recommend instead? Whatever help you can give me will be appreciated. Thank you,

The Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack part # INH120 and Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack like part # SH12B are both excellent options. I recommend the Kuat Sherpa because the finish of these racks is extremely nice and there are really no others who can compete. In addition to the finish, it is a very high quality rack that will perform well and last a long time. In addition to all of this, the Sherpa is much lighter than the Tire Hold.
In order to use either bike rack on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra you'll need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11303.
