Fully welded vehicle trailer hitch is strong and durable. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.

Specs:
Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Great product, and the video was extremely helpful for install. Fit like a glove! My only issue was the paint was chipped on both sides of the hitch. This appeared to be due to packaging. I wasn’t thrilled, but a little touch up rust resistant paint and it was fine. Room for improvement, but I’m very happy with etrailer’s prices and services otherwise!
One man installation. It all fit togeth er

Excellent
You have to cut the bumper with this hitch, whereas the others ones bolt right up and you don't have to remove the rear Fascia i think the hitch itself seems fine. however i would opt for the one that you don't have to modify the fascia in order for it to fit
Easy installation. Would have been better to put it on Jack's, then remove the rear tires for ease of access. Also recommend putting the Mud flaps on the rear, the way honda designed the passenger side allows for a lot of road grime to get in the bumper.
The cutting of the bumper was the most invasive part of the install. I would highly recommend the no show trailer hitch bar, it is a much cleaner look.
Mounted this on a Honda Odyssey and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Our primary need was for a bike rack but it is nice to be able to pull the utility trailer as well. The hitch was easy to install and Etrailers instructions were spot on. I can't recommend it enough.
Excellent product and outstanding shipping time. This hitch work perfectly on 2022 Honda Odyssey. Easy install, instruction provided, or follow one of the YouTube videos. Looks and works just like a OEM hitch. Perfect!!!
Hardware quality and instructions were great, but I had to touch up about a dozen spots on the hitch reciever with paint because the factory paint was chipped off.
Fit perfect on our 2025 Odyssey! Hitch is hidden, can only see the receiver, very nice product.
This hitch receiver is excellent. It was easy to install and the instructions provided by etrailer were also excellent. The hitch is well hidden, as described. Etrailer was quick to ship and provided excellent support.
Great hitch! Installs exactly as described. Very clean look as it doesn’t stick out at all and is hidden well under the bumper. We use it for bike racks and cargo baskets and it’s been great. Be careful of going up steep driveways as it can drag. Can’t do much about that with such a low sitting vehicle. Would definitely recommend.
After reading all of the reviews I had a high level of confidence that installing this hitch on my 2020 Honda Odyssey would be easy. Install time took about an hour and a half, and was indeed incredibly easy thanks to the video. I used a bungee cord to hold up the exhaust and a utility knife with a new blade to cut all of the plastic including the notch for the hitch. Since there is so much room underneath the car, I used my jack stands to hold the hitch up while putting the first screws in, no second pair of hands needed. It looks fantastic and doing it myself instead of paying the dealership felt great. You really do get what you pay for!

Zero issues a year later. 1,000 recommend.
Installed the product 1 year after acquiring it on my 2018 Odyssey- It was a snap, no need to put the car on a lift and only removed the last muffler hangar. A second hand is helpful when installing and re-hanging the bumper. Otherwise its a one person Job. Fits great- very sleek hidden hitch. Wiring kit also installed just fine for the 4 flat. Instructional videos was super helpful and paper instructions were nearly adequate in themselves after watching video.

Super Hitch on the Odyssey - towing fishing boat perfectly all last summer.
Had a friend come over and it took less than an hour. Most of that time was spent removing and reinstalling all the clips and screws for the bumper cover and rear wheel splash guards. Video made it seem easy. Definitely glad I decided to go with this model hitch as it looks like a factory install. When I purchased the 2020 Odyssey in December I had the dealership give me quote and they wanted right at $1200 to do what etrailer allowed me to for $xx.xx. Thanks for saving me the $1000 and having the satisfaction of doing it with my buddy and the expert help from etrailer.

As Tony the Tiger says, “Grrreat! Still very satisfied with the hitch and wiring harness.
Product installed as explained in the video. I think the 80 minutes is for installing on a lift. Takes a while longer when you are on the ground. It was great mentioning to put painters tape along both edges of the bumper cover to keep scratches down when removing and reinstalling.
I do cross country travel so I like to have my traveling vehicle to have a hitch installed, never know when you need to haul something for somebody or you need to help someone to get unstuck or you need to get unstuck.
I've always gotten great products from etrailer for the last 12 years.
The auto body portion was simple to remove the bumper skin. The instructions recommended lowering the exhaust, I was able to avoid that and actually found it helpful to slide the assembly over the tail pipe to support one side while I started the left side bolts. Torquing the right side bolts was the crux of skipping dropping the exhaust. To dodge that bullet I simply wedged a block of wood between the body and exhaust to make enough clearance for the ratchet head and socket. Overall I'm very happy with the build and fit. It's a much cleaner look than a huge hanging bar. The only thing that broke my heart was cutting a index card size notch in the bumper skin.

Its been awesome, looks great. Hauled trailer twice from Texas to CA worked out perfectly. Im very impressed with the product and how it offers more ground clearance than a below bumper unit.
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver did not disappoint at all. First thing, the shipping on this was extremely fast. Not sure if that was because of where I live or not, but it got delivered in great condition and was very quick to get here.
Second, the installation seemed daunting at first but after watching the video for the 2018 Honda Odyssey, the installation was smooth as butter. Hardest part for me was removing the clips on the bumper so that I could reuse them again. They were very dirty and didn't want to budge very easily. Other than the clips, everything else for the installation was super easy. I do recommend trying to clean out the welded nuts like they mention in the video though, I had two of mine that were a little rough to get the bolt to screw in without the help of a ratchet, so clean those out beforehand and you'll be good.
Third, The look of this receiver once it's all said and done looks great. It's not quite the same as the factory hitch, but it's nice and sleek but still functional. We immediately threw in our Velocirax bike rack to try it out and it worked like awesome. I would definitely recommend this hitch to any other Odyssey owner.
If it absolutely perfectly it took me two and a half hours to install for the instructions online I am extremely pleased with the product thank you
The package was pretty beat up in when it arrived, and it appeared the hardware had fallen out. E-trailer customer support was able to provide the missing hardware and the e-trailer install video was simple and easy to follow.
Easy to install and great instructions from etrailer.com.
Unfortunately, the receiver tube is welded on crooked when compared to the hitch itself, resulting in bike racks and luggage racks being tilted when compared to the van and the ground. I’d expect more quality from a company like Draw-Tite.
As you can see in etrailer’s pictures, the receiver tube is set inward from the back edge of the bumper, this may make using this hitch more difficult for some users as it is a bit more difficult to hook up safety chains and the hitch pin.
Great looking trailer. I bought this one because the bars weren't extending off the side of the hitch.
Installation is straightforward and the video is great. Lessons learned:
1) I didn't need to take off the forward gasket for the exhaust pipe; I only took off the rear one; photo attached showing how my ratchet fit between tail pipe and bolt.
2) the HARDEST PART of the installation procedure was REATTACHING THE SPLASH GUARDS/MUD GUARDS. I found that it helps to understand what clips and grommets are there.
3) I used a file to de-burr the edges after cutting with my Dremel. I like to avoid sharp knives whenever possible.
My hitch came with some paint missing in some parts so I spray painted the surfaces black and gave it a couple hours before handling.
It wasn't clear to me from the video why you need a new cable for the Hands Free Tailgate Assist. The manual that comes with the cable makes it very clear: you will not be able to kick under the hitch anymore to open the trunk/hatch. Pic of manual attached.
Lastly, maybe stretch before installing this. I was sore for a couple days afterwards and took some Advil.
Nice trailer hitch for the 2020 Honda Odyssey. That said build quality could be better, there were some minor defects on the bumper, there were some super sharp edges that cut me. I had to file it down and paint it.
Installation wasn't too bad, the hardest part was unhitching the exhaust so that you get more room to work with. Installation videos on etrailer.com website made the install a breeze.
Note for the plastic retaining clips you need to remove under the bumper, you only need to remove 7 of them (don't remove all of them, as there are there to actually keep the handsfree tailgate antenna inside the bumper)
Watching the install video, Easy peezy.
Haven't used it yet, but the fit is great.
Install took about 1.5 hours taking my time and did it all on the ground. I drove the van up on a couple of 2x6's for a little more room underneath. The installation video is dead on, I only took the rearmost exhaust hangar off though.
Overall very pleased and can't wait to put our cargo carrier on and put it to use.
Also great service from etrailer like always.
Hitch came on time and well packaged to protect it from scratches / damage. After watching etrailer’s video, I set aside a few hours to take my time to install. Everything went as planned. Was able to install without jacking up the van. I did use a floor jack and two car stands to position the hitch under the van so I could thread the first couple bolts. A little nervous to cut the bumper but use of my dremel with cutting disk worked great. Overall very happy with the finished look.
Before I order this hitch, I ordered the Honda hands free power tail gate adapter from online Honda dealer and the part number is# 08L91-THR-100A. The adapter included the shipping is about $90. For the hitch, I ordered by phone with Kim and she was very nice to help me to place the order. The hitch arrived on time and fast shipping. Luckily, I received the hitch and the adapter on the same day. When I opened the hitch box. I didn't find the screws or instruction. It ends up all were inside of the hitch opening hole, well and compact packed.
I installed this hitch by myself. I was using two boxes to hold the hitch when I install. I didn't use the floor jack and stand. Because I am a small body build guy. So I can sneak under the van to work on it.
Overall, it took me about 3 hours. Maybe it was my first time to install this hitch by myself. During the installation, there are few things wanted to share:
1) the hard part was separating the exhaust mounting rubber brackets. Before I separate the brackets, I used a long rubber twist tie to tie the pipe to the frame then separate the rubber brackets.
2) because I don't have the Torx screwdriver to remove the new hand free tail gate adapter box. So I used a small pointed plier to remove the Trox screw. After putting the new box back, I put the regular screw back instead of the Trox screw. So I can make sure I screwed it tight.
3) just after took out the bumper, there are two electric sensor wires on both sides (I have a Touring model), it was hard to detach the wire connectors. Because I cannnot see the clips. So I detached the whole connection union and off from the car frame and easily to detach the wire connectors.
Other than these things, I followed the installation video and it was very smooth.
I attached a photo what tools I used and some installation photos. Hope you all had a smooth installation.
Thank to the etrailer sales, Kim and the installation video.

I agree with you there- shipping has always been a bit rough for hitches but the touch up paint will prevent rust for sure :)
