This hitch is pretty heavy duty. I just finished installing it on my 09'300C Heritage Edition. Once I was able to get a tap through the welded on bolt on the car frame the rest went pretty smoothly, considering that I'm 64 and was laying on my back in the garage. I haven't crawled under a car in years. The installation instructions were pretty clear, it took me longer than the estimated 30 minutes. I was doing it by myself though. The fish wires for the carriage bolts and metal bar worked out great! I left the wires on so I could make sure I didn't push the bolts back through the holes, and removed them when I was ready for the washer and nut. I checked the fit of my Rocky Mounts platform bike rack,also purchased from etrailer, and it fits perfectly, with plenty of clearance when folded upward. The box was a bit damaged upon arrival,shipped via UPS. However, the hitch was unscathed. I'm very happy with my purchase from etrailer. This saved me a couple hundred dollars in installation fees from my local Trailer Sales dealer.
Great customer service great product. The instructions were great. The videos to help install are perfect. Even by myself, I was able to install this in about an hour and a half. I overcame the challenges, but with the information you provided and a great product it was very simple.
This product fits tight but does the job. It might seem ridiculous to put one of these on a 2015 Challenger SRT-392 but if you need to tow something, (Wave Runner). It does the job well. It is a little low to the ground but so is the car. Very sturdy and very well made. Nice thing is it protects those expensive exhaust tips from hitting a parking curb with the hitch in... as the backup camera is not the best at seeing the ground there. I recommend this over the other options as I returned the competitions due to ground clearance issues. This one has the best ground clearance.

Sounds like the hitch came in handy for not just towing but also some added protection. We have some curbs here than are pretty deadly if you're too low to the ground. How often do you get to take your wave runner out?

Very happy with our purchase. Has worked great to haul or e-bikes including to Florida and back this winter. Also for that load of mulch with our utility trailer. Highly recommend.

The hitch was shipped quickly and arrived without a scratch. The installation video from the website was spot on. Super easy installation!! I jacked up my car and put it on jack stands. There was plenty of room under the car. I removed the 6 exhaust hanger 1/2” bolts, dropped the exhaust then bolted the hitch right up. I re-hung the exhaust Total time was 1hr and 5 minutes from start to finish.

I am still very pleased with my etrailer tow hitch for my 2016 Dodge Challenger! I’ve been able to tow my trailer with both motorcycles and gear as well as furniture and miscellaneous buildings materials. It still blows my mind how easy the installation was. I recommend etrailer tow hitches to everyone!
An excellent product, in addition to excellent product support. The stuff I needed shipped fast and was well packaged to make sure nothing was damaged. The installation was made as easy as possible with a variety of supporting videos from the company on various makes and models to help you along every step of the way. If your on the fence, and nervous I'd recommend buying irregardless. You wont regret it!

Installed the trailer hitch receiver exactly one year ago. It was easy to install and works great. I used a hydraulic jack to hold the hitch in place
and then installed the bolts.
Product fits well and fairly easy to install, on my charger gt I had to remove the bumper which was the hardest part. If you have some mechanical knowledge should be no problem. First product from etrailer and was very impressed with the customer service, they helped me pick out the perfect hitch for my vehicle and kept in contact with me about shipping dates and was able to quickly respond.
Shipping was excellent. Everything was in the box in good shape and installed as expected.
Fits perfect on my 2017 Chrysler 300 AWD. The AWD models sit a little higher than the RWD models, so I haven't had any issues with scraping. Hitch and wiring was installed in less than an hour. Looks good on the car too, doesn't stand out like other hitches do. Great product, would by again.

Well constructed product. Bolts in as stated. Word of caution for installation on Dodge Chargers R/T's, the exhaust system has solenoid controlled baffles just in front of the rear axle for emissions control and they need to be unplugged before lowering the exhaust system for hitch installation or you risk damaging the wires and or the connectors.
Fast delivery. I replaced my exhaust system at the same time so install was easy. I like the install kit (included). The price was on point and the powder coat is flawless.
It literally fits like it was made for it! Our Challenger is single exhaust so it was somewhat easier to mount. I have a lift, but it could be mounted laying on the driveway just about as easily. Took me about half and hour from unboxing to mounted.
I just received the trailer and wiring connectors for my 2019 Charger RT , so I have installed them yet but everything looks good and it arrived pretty quickly ,in about five days. The hitch looks heavy duty , I've installed one similar to this on a Challenger and it was pretty easy with a extra hand from my son. I plan on pulling a kayak trailer and using it for my bike rack.
1st, the Good: hitch was well built, HD, painted well, packaged well, shipped promptly, arriving in great condition.
2nd, the BAD: no way that the average consumer, alone, installs that hitch on that application (09 Charger 5.7L) in 30mins! not even in 60mins!, more like a couple hrs, AT LEAST. By the directions, you are supposed to try the supplied bolt (12mm x 1.75) in the existing frame weld nut. It wouldn't even start. Why don't they give you a dog-point self-tapping bolt? I had to purchase a tap, and basically re-thread the weld-nut, which was not at all easy with the exhaust resonator in the way! Then snaking my hand in the right side, especially, to put the nuts & special washers on was very, very tough, again with the resonator in the way. Why on earth, do they not supply nuts with captive, free-spinning washers, so you don't have to juggle all those parts on the tips of the fingers of one hand while you try to pull the resonator out of the way with your other hand?
LAST, why is the trailer hitch so low? It looks like it could be shortened at least an inch or more to tuck it up close to the bottom of the rear fascia bottom.

Other than hanging too low, and sometimes scraping on steep transition driveways, its been good. Really dont understand why it hangs an inch lower than necessary.
I ordered a different hitch originally, but due to fitment issues this one was sent as a replacement. Bill in customer service was a true professional in handling the return and replacement with this hitch. The Draw Tite fit my 2016 Dodge Charger Pursuit perfectly. Installation was very straightforward and easy to do by myself. I have purchased two hitches from etrailer over the last five years, and I will never shop anywhere else for towing products other than etrailer. The pricing is right, fast shipping, and their customer service can't be beat. Thanks! I HIGHLY recommend them!!

I bought an adjustable drawbar, and with Interchangeable ball sizes, it makes this hitch compatible with just about any height trailer.

The hitch is holding up nicely, even though I have only used it a couple times so far. I dont drive the car in the winter and it spent all of May and June in the body shop getting cosmetic surgery. Im very happy with this hitch...
