Features to know about

Handle Everyday Hauling with Confidence: Class III Strength and 2" Receiver

This Draw-Tite Max-Frame hitch is built for real use, not just occasional jobs. With a 3,500 lb maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lb maximum tongue weight, it’s ready for small trailers, boats, or cargo carriers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most common bike racks, ball mounts, and storage platforms. Whether you’re towing a lightweight camper or adding a rack for extra gear, it’s rated to perform safely and reliably every time.

Skip the Workshop Hassle: Easy Bolt-On Installation

No welding required here. This hitch uses an easy, bolt-on design with a complete hardware kit and installation instructions included. It’s made for a straightforward install using existing mounting points, so you can get it done in the driveway with basic tools. The fit is custom to the vehicle frame for proper alignment and solid support right out of the box.

Keep It Looking Good Over Time: E-Coat Base with Black Powder Coat Finish

The fully welded steel construction is backed by Draw-Tite’s Tested Tough guarantee and protected by an e-coat base topped with a black powder coat finish. That dual-layer protection means excellent resistance to rust and corrosion from road grime, salt, or rain. The square-tube design gives it a sturdy, clean look under the bumper while staying discreet enough not to stand out.

Built and Tested Beyond Industry Standards: Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Every Max-Frame hitch goes through fatigue and static testing that exceeds standard SAE requirements. Testing on simulated vehicles instead of rigid fixtures ensures results that reflect real driving conditions. It’s designed to hold up through years of towing and hauling without compromise to safety or durability.

Everything is good with the hitch...no problems at all

by:

It was a super easy install thanks to well done videos. It looks nice on the car and will serve us well for many years.

by:

Jennifer, your help in expediting shipment is very much appreciated and the hitch arrived on time. Thanks! One major problem. The bolts on the Kia were not long enough and the mechanic had to purchase longer bolts in order to install the hitch. Would be a small cost to your company but a major time lost for the mechanic. Thought you should know this.

by:

Not sure I can think of anything to improve on here regarding, cost, shipping, value, design, instructions, etc
I'm happy

Install was easy. Everything fit just right. Added locktite to the bolts just to be sure. Plan on using to tow a small utility trailer and a bike rack.

The hitch came next day. Everything needed for a speedy installation was all n the box and everything fit perfectly without any adjustments. It works well. Thanks for just the right parts and advice!

Easy install perfect fit

by:

My trailer hitch and parts needed came to the house quickly. Very Heavy duty. Assembly went smooth with instructions for my 2006 Kia Sportage. The trailer light harness is spot on, I found one of etrailer's videos on installation for my vehicle. I will be pulling my cargo and small camp trailer very soon.

by:

By adding this Hitch Receiver to a used vehicle we just acquired, it will allow us to transport our bikes on the same rack we use on our other vehicles that already have a Hitch Receiver. It was surprisingly easy to self install. Thanks for the exceptional customer service.

by:

Great product, received hitch exactly The day they said it would come. Hitch bolted up perfectly with no problems whatsoever. Now I could put my bike rack on and have fun. I will Recommend e-trailer to all my friends. It was very easy to order and videos showing how to install, they matched me up with the correct one that fits my vehicle Thanks again

After one year trailer hitch that looks like brand new. Works great no problems with attaching the bike rack. I recently just ordered a Thule bike rack Through E trailer and again came on time perfect working order bolted up to hitch perfectly. Will always use a trailer for any future purchases I will tell all my friends what a great experience with working with E trailer company. Thank you again

by:

I looked at local sellers of receiver hitches and didn't find any for my Kia Sportage. I am glad I didn't, because when I searched the internet and found Etrailer, I found an exact match for my vehicle. Also very important, I would not have known how to lower the muffler system to get a hitch in place! I really appreciate the great step by step video that showed me how to install the receiver. I had it completely installed the afternoon I received it, working in my driveway. Thanks for making it easy for an 82 year old guy!

I recently purchased this hitch and related wiring accessories from etrailer for my 05 Hyundai Tucson. Following the included installation instructions I found the hitch easy to install. Total install time including the wiring adapter was approximately 1.5 hours without rushing.

  • Best Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2018 Honda CR-V
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76128 is indeed a confirmed fit for your 2018 Honda CR-V and is the one I recommend for you because it installs using pre drilled holes in the frame rails. The process to do so is also fairly simple as you can see from the attached install video on a tan CR-V. For a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118741 because it offers a completely plug and play installation which you can also see from the...

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring for a 2008 Kia Sportage LX
Matthew, for a hitch I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75561. This hitch has a nice 3,500 lb capacity, is custom to your vehicle so it'll bolt up requiring no drilling or welding, and has a class III 2" receiver opening. For a wiring harness it looks like your vehicle has the 4 cylinder engine, so I'd recommend going with the Tekonsha Tail Light Converter with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # 119178KIT.

  • 4 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2009 Kia Sportage
To carry 4 bikes at the rear of your 2009 Kia Sportage your best option would be to use a receiver hitch and a hitch mounted bike rack. One of our most popular 4 bike racks is the Thule Hitching Post, # TH934XTR, which has anti-sway cradles to prevent damage to your bikes or the back of the vehicle and can be folded down away from the rear of the vehicle for access when out on a ride. If you don't have a receiver hitch, the hitch I recommend for your vehicle is the Draw-Tite Class III...

  • Comparing the Trailer Wiring Harnesses for a 2010 Kia Sportage V6
The best trailer wiring harness for a 2010 Kia Sportage is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118401 because it has a fully epoxied converter box which not only works to keep out water but also works to help hold the wires on the circuit board which is the most common failure point for a trailer wiring harness. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55529 also has an epoxied converter box but not to the same level as the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. I would concur that...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2007 Hyundai Tucson
I do have a solution for you, however the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24757 referenced in your question is designed for certain model years of the Hyundai Sonata and is not compatible with your 2007 Hyundai Tucson. For your Hyundai Tucson, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75561. This is custom-fit for your vehicle and will provide a nice 2 inch receiver opening and a 3,500 pound towing weight capacity. No drilling will be required during...

  • Can a Weight Distribution System be Used on a 2009 Kia Sportage
All of the trailer hitch receivers that we carry for your 2009 Kia Sportage, like the # 75561, cannot be used with a weight distribution system. If you have a different hitch than one we carry you'll need to check its specs to know for sure. To reduce trailer sway you are able to use a Sway Control Kit # 83660. It installs on the trailer tongue and can be removed easily by releasing two clips. It will need to be removed whenever you're backing up with the trailer. I've linked an install...

  • Will Trailer Hitch From 2003 Subaru Forester Fit 2008 Kia Sportage
The available trailer hitches for the 2003 Subaru Forester will only fit on the 1998-2008 Subaru Forester. This hitch will not be compatible with any other model or year vehicle. For your 2008 Kia Sportage, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75561. This hitch is confirmed to fit and custom-designed for this vehicle. No drilling will be required during installation, as it will use existing holes in the vehicle frame for attachment. This Class III hitch will...

  • Which Trailer Hitch is Recommended for a 2007 Kia Sportage Towing Canoes and Sailboats
When the choice is available, I always recommend the class III hitch with the 2" by 2" opening. This will give the greatest flexibility and largest selection of accessories. The Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch, part # 75561, would be the ideal choice for your vehicle. It offers a 3500 pound towing and and a 350 pound tongue weight capacity. This hitch would not require the cutting of any fascia, would require no drilling, and mounts to already existing weldnuts in your vehicle's frame.

  • Higher Capacity Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2010 Kia Sportage
For your 2010 Kia Sportage the highest towing capacity available is the # 75561 which has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity and a 3,500 lb total trailer weight. Not every vehicle has high capacity hitches available. For lighter duty vehicles there are lighter duty hitches made. It wouldn't really make much sense to put a heavy duty hitch on a vehicle that isn't rated for the same capacities as the hitch. Since you have a 6 cylinder model you would want the part # 118401 for trailer wiring. If...
