Question:
Im looking for a hitch for a 2007 kia sportage 6 cylinder. Mostly for towing canoe, kayaks, sailboat and bike rack and cargo cargo carrier. I have a few questions. I think a 1 1/4 hitch would be sufficient. Does that sound correct? Do the hitches you carry for my car require cutting the fascia?

When the choice is available, I always recommend the class III hitch with the 2" by 2" opening. This will give the greatest flexibility and largest selection of accessories. The Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch, part # 75561, would be the ideal choice for your vehicle. It offers a 3500 pound towing and and a 350 pound tongue weight capacity. This hitch would not require the cutting of any fascia, would require no drilling, and mounts to already existing weldnuts in your vehicle's frame.
