Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today we're going to take a quick look at the tire sensors for your Tire Linc 00:00:06 Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Now, depending on what your situation is, these are either going to be an add-on to your current system, or they may be a replacement. So if you've lost some of your sensors, these will work to replace them, or they will work as additional sensors. Your app can hold up to 20 different sensors, so depending on how many you want to add on how many tires you want some monitor, these will allow you at least two more if you already have four operating ones. These do come with the locking nuts that will allow these to become more of a theft-deterrent, be harder to take these off, again like with the other ones, these are a little bit more in my opinion, more trouble than they're worth. So if you're not in a high crime area, I'd probably say, don't even worry about it. Just put your tire sensors on, but just like your originals, these are going to have the ability to monitor your tire pressure on your app.

You can set the range that you want, basically all of the same functionality as the others that you already have or had, these do you have the same operating temperature range of negative 58 degrees Fahrenheit up to 401 degrees Fahrenheit. They will have the tire pressure range at zero psi up to 188 psi. So great replacements. If you need the replacements or great option to add a couple more sensors so that you can monitor a couple more tires. These do also come with a one-year warranty. So if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call.

We'd help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are going to do a good job giving you that extra peace of mind to know what's going on with your tires as you're driving down the road. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com Thanks for watching..

The Tire Linc system is a very good TPMS. The repeater was easy to install, as were the individual tire sensors. etrailer has been great in price and delivery.

by:

New sensors work well. Old sensor was leaking air. Notifications of pressure and heat keep us aware of tires on our rig.

  • What Do I Need to Add 8 Tire Linc Pro Sensors to a Prepped Keystone Montana?
Hello Don, Congrats on the new 2027 Keystone! There is one thing I do not try to do, and that is make sense of the pricing these manufacturers come up with! The reason I say that is because, at this time, it will actually save you money to get the Tire Linc Pro TPMS for RVs and Trailers - 6 Tire Sensors w/ Repeater # LC87VC, add the two extra sensors with the Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS - Qty 2 # LC97VR, and then add the LCD Display for Tire Linc Pro RV TPMS w/ Charging Cord # LC27VC. • What Is Needed To Complete Trailer Prepped with Lippert Tire Linc
It looks like trailers that come prepped with the Lippert Tire Linc have the repeater installed but not the sensors so in which case you can purchase the sensors separately using the Tire Sensors for Tire Linc TPMS part # LC97VR which are sold in pairs. This would then give you the complete kit which is the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster part # LC37VR.

  • What is Needed To Complete Tire Linc Prep Kit on Keystone
Hey Darin, this is a great question but since you have the Lippert Tire Linc Prep Kit that means you have everything but the sensors that mount on the valve stems and the repeater. So for that you'd just need the part # LC37VR which is a pair of sensors plus the repeater. For just a pair of sensors you'd then want the part # LC97VR.

  • What Does "Prepped For Tire Linc Monitoring System" Mean For A Heartland Torque Toy Hauler?
Hey Stephen, thanks for reaching out. So, “Prepped for Tire Linc” usually just means the trailer already has the Tire Linc repeater/prep wiring installed from the factory, not necessarily the actual tire sensors. On a lot of Heartland Torque toy haulers, the prep package includes the repeater mounted underneath the coach near the axles with power already wired in, but the valve stem sensors still have to be purchased separately. The easiest way to verify is to physically check the valve...

Hello Gary, The Tire Linc TPMS prep on your Cougar 23MLS 5th wheel includes the pre-installed wiring and mounting location for the Tire Linc repeater module, as well as a frame-mounted antenna that boosts signal strength from the sensors. This factory prep does not include the repeater module, tire sensors, or a display/monitor. Hey Bob, I checked with Keystone and the Tire Linc Prep oddly enough doesn't really come with anything and essentially you need to buy the kit part # LC37VR. This includes 4 sensors but if you needed more you could order the part # LC97VR for an additional two.

  • Is Lippert LC37VR Tire Link TPMS System Compatible with OEM Sensors on 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500
The # LC37VR TPMS booster isn't meant to work with an OEM TPMS system, but you could use 4 additional sensors which would be two sets of # LC97VR on the your truck's valve stems, and you'd be able to use your smart phone to observe the tire pressures/temperatures from the tow vehicle and trailer through your phone. I've linked to an install/demonstration video featuring the # LC37VR TPMS system.

  • Is It Normal For A Lippert Tire Linc Repeater Dock To Already Be Installed On A New Motorhome
Lippert is deeply in the pockets of pretty much every trailer/motorhome manufacturer so they most likely installed the repeater block so that you'd be more inclined to purchase their sensors over other brands. The Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster for RVs and Trailers # LC37VR is also compatible with Lippert's OneControl systems so it could also have been installed to match up that system if you have a OneControl touch screen. • Information And Specifications On Tire Linc TPMS For RVs And Trailers
My contact at Lippert was able to give me some information regarding the Tire Linc TPMS # LC37VR. The size of the sensor is fairly small, measuring about 3/4" thick and weighing 11 grams each. The battery life will depend on how much the system is used, but generally the batteries last 1-2 years. Set-up time is minimal; the sensors simply screw onto the valve stem and the signal booster will be wired up to 12 volts. The maximum range of communication is 33 feet, however, Lippert recommends...
