Installed on 2020 Kia Soul GT-Line. Installation was relatively easy even by myself (used ramps to have more workspace under the car). I didn't need to lower the exhaust to fit it. Used it once with my bike rack and so far everything looks good!
2024 Kia Soul. If possible taking off the tires might have made it easier. Otherwise not a very difficult install. Remove fender liners, lower exhaust it fits right up to factory holes. I did it alone but an extra set of hands would make it easier.

I don't write 5 star reviews as there is always something to be critical on but this couldn't have been any better! I bought this hitch to transport a couple e-bikes and so glad I did. Installation was much easier than I anticipated. The installation video recommends lowering the exhaust and disconnecting the EVAP; I didn't do either and had no problem whatsoever. I also didn't raise the vehicle, the whole process took almost no prep whatsoever. The EVAP cable is long enough to work around and I just fit the hitch on that side first to ensure I didn't damage the wire. Entire process took about 20 minutes from start to finish and that was without help.
Vehicle is a 2020 Soul X-line. If you're concerned about installation, don't be. Watch the video and adjust accordingly. Very very simple.
I think this has been my best purchase in years! I placed it on my 2021 Kia Soul and it works phenomenally. It easily pulls my small homemade camper trailer. I have never had any issues. The first several months I would get under my car to check and see if it was still secure and tight, but finally gave up doing that because there is no need. This product is grade A+ and Top Notch!

This was my second e-trailer hitch for a compact car. Easy to install and invisible from the street. I added a cute hitch plug when not using the bike rack. Great product and service from e-trailer!
I GAVE IT 4 STARS ONLY BECAUSE I use it for a bike rack and I can not see it when I am putting the rack on I wish the hitch was a little longer.
The installation was easy and as several others have stated you do not have to drop the muffler. I did jack up the car and use my floor jack to position the hitch as I am 87 and did it by myself.
In retrospect it might be helpful mark the underside of the frame rail to show the position of the threaded holes to help in starting the bolts.
This product fits like a glove on my 2020 Kia Soul. The shipping was fast and the price was more than fair. It was easy to install and the instructions were Corday to understand. I will definitely be making future purchases from etrailer.com.

This is installed on a 2020 Kia Soul, I towed a 4x8 utility trailer loaded with a 450lb on a vacation and it performed flawlessly.
Awesome! Well made product, great fit, instructions clear, easy to follow and spot on, although my installation did not require lowering the muffler as stated. Took 45-50 minutes to install in my yard. Did back the vehicle up on ramps for ease of access for this senior. Will be used for towing a light utility/kayak trailer and attaching my bike carrier/rack. I always do research for the best product for the dollar and etrailer has never failed me
Installation was straightforward. I was able to install unassisted by using a pair of jack stands to hold the hitch in position while starting bolts. Looks great with only the receiver portion exposed! I will be using it to attach a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
First of all, the description and fit to 2020 Kia Soul are accurate. Mom and teenage son installed this thing. Overall it is a simple installation once you figure a few things out like how to unhook the wiring harness and remove the plastic wheel well fasteners (thanks google). It is a tight fit. We did not lower the exhaust. May have been slightly easier if we had but then I would have had to figure that out too and how to put it back together. At one point we thought the rack wouldn’t fit. Gave it one more try and it slid into place. Popped the bolts in and tightened them up. Bam! New hitch.
Nicely made very sturdy. Tolerence's were perfect. I'm 81 and installed this myself within 30 minutes; if I had a helper probably 15 minutes or less. Didn't drop the muffler as I use it to support the hitch on the right side; taped the canister wire out of the way but did remove the splash guard pins so I could easily get a wrench on the bolts. I put the front bolts in first about half way in and then put my finger in the back hole and moved the hitch until it was in alignment with my finger; put bolt in and the other side was perfectly aligned.
I gave it five stars. Installation was easy. To a point. First, you don’t have to undo the muffler, in fact, it helps hold it for you while installing. The fender guards, only undo the bottom ones, then you have plenty of room. My only problem, was the hitch, on the left side, had a slight bend in it. May have been dropped before shipping. Couple good smacks with my framing hammer, and it was fixed. I did back the car onto a couple three 2x6 for more height. But all in all, it went well.
I'm not sure which was easier- ordering my hitch or the installation? etrailer's price was great, the transaction smooth and installation of my hitch easy. The hitch appears to be very well built. Fit and finish is nice. Its very unobtrusive and doesn't detract from the car.
Such an easy 45 minute install. Did not have to lower muffler as long as you have the hitch supported evenly just below the frame. I jacked up passenger side (muffler exhaust side) and was able to slide it past the muffler. I removed two wheel well clips on both sides and that was it.
Order what I wanted. Got exactly that with fast processing and quick delivery. Install vids were a plus. Thanks much.
I am super happy with the provider's service, they answered my questions very quickly and the product arrived perfect and in record time. The Court product is excellent, perfect finishes and paint and the measurements are perfect in my 2023 Kia Soul, I installed it without help in 25 minutes, I did not have to remove the exhaust or the electrical clothing.

E trailer, has made a great effort in helping me find the parts I needed. The Curt hitch I bought a year ago, worked out really well. It was easy to install, Less than 15 min. That and a wiring kit and I was ready to tow. Fast service, knowledgeable and listened to what I needed. Good job and yes I will order from etrailer again.

Well made and easy to install. Took me about a half hour to install by myself. I did not drop the exhaust, just used a piece of rope for my third hand. Also found it easier to get the driver side in position first. I definitely recommend your product. This was installed on a 2020 Kia Soul.
