Video Transcript for All You Need to Know About the Penn State University Chrome Mascot Emblem 2" Hitch Cover

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Penn State University two inch hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean, finished look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is going to made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish which is going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. Here at the front, we're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem.

The unit's going to feature a nice rust proof and fade proof design. It is American made. On the back side, we're going to have a nice foam gasket that's really going to help reduce rattle in between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. Now, to get it fully installed it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separately.

We're going to take a measurement here at the front face. It's going to give us an overall width of about five inches with an overall height of about three and a half inches. The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of our hitch pin hole, that's going to measure about two and a half inches. Now, this designed for a two inch by two inch hitch.

Very simple installation; all you have to do is slide this in to the receiver tube of your hitch until you get your pin holes to line up with one another. Then you just secure this to the hitch by installing a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Penn State University two inch hitch cover from AMG.
