I am looking for advice on a hitch for my rig and rv. I have a few in mind, but was referred to this site for expert help. I have a 2022 Ram 3500 w/Ram Air Suspension and will be towing a 30’ Airstream International. Thanks

I would be happy to help you find a hitch for your 2022 Ram 3500. It looks like your 30’ Airstream International has a maximum capacity of 10,000 lbs. I have a couple of options for you depending on the bed length of your truck. All of the hitches with the capacity you are looking for require drilling for installation.

If you have an 8 foot bed with or without the factory hitch you will want the Draw-Tite item # DT45518. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Ram 3500 with included hardware. This hitch has a towing capacity of 12,000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 1,200 lbs and is compatible with air suspension.

If you have an 6-1/2' foot bed with or without the factory hitch you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C15801.

Both of these hitches have 2-1/2" receivers and plenty of capacity to pull your Airstream trailer. I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit item # EBMK25518 to tow your trailer.
