Features to know about

Haul With Confidence: Strong Class III Hitch Ready for Real Towing

This Curt trailer hitch receiver is built to handle real work. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 8,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 800 lbs. When used with weight distribution, it supports up to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs TW. Whether you’re towing a small camper, a utility trailer, or hauling gear for the weekend, this Class III 2" x 2" receiver gives you solid strength and stability every time you hook up.

Skip the Welding and Complications: Bolt-On Installation

No welding is required here. The fully welded hitch bolts right onto your vehicle’s frame using the included hardware. The precision, robotic welding delivers a perfect fit and maximizes strength at every joint. With everything lining up cleanly, installation is straightforward with standard hand tools—no drilling or fabrication needed.

Built to Last Through Weather and Use: Corrosion-Resistant Powder-Coated Steel

The hitch’s square-tube design is made from sturdy steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer for superior rust resistance. This finish stands up to road grime, rain, and salt while keeping its look intact. It’s designed to stay strong and resist corrosion even after years of towing or carrying heavy accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers.

Ready for Everyday Utility: 2" Receiver for Versatile Accessories

The 2" receiver opening works with most towing gear—ball mounts, bike racks, cargo trays, and more—so you can outfit it for nearly any job. It’s a simple way to add real hauling power or gear-carrying flexibility without changing your setup each time. Ball mount, pin, and clip are sold separately so you can choose exactly what fits your needs.

Price was good and it fit fine. thanks

Installed on 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab, New Body Style. Great Hitch and Price. Easy and straight forward to install. Only 6 bolts. Some rusted on in Buffalo, NY salted area. Had to be heated and drilled out.

Downside. 3 stars instead of 5. Poor Packaging. Hitch ripped through box. Bag of Nuts/Bolts was also ripped open. Most of hardware was rattling around in box. Some Nuts/Bolts and backing plates were lost during shipping. I had to go to hardware store and spend $15 for Grade 8 hardware and fabricate new backing plates. Didnt mind ripped box soo much. Just didnt like having to buy more nuts and bolts and backing plates.

trailer hitch fit perfect . took about 25 minutes to install ... very easy Install. the seven pole twist in trailer connector fit perfect only took about five minutes to install

by:

This has been my 2nd order from eTrailer and this is the 2nd time that I have been completely satisfied. The receiver hitch I ordered fit perfectly and as advertised. I initially had concerns about the fit because the truck I was installing it on did not have a stock bumper. But etrailer came through as promised and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely keep etrailer on my lists of favorites for future purchases! I just wish I knew about this place years ago.

by:

Great fit! Everything bolted into place with no problems!
The description says the hitch will work on models that have a Tommy Lift gate but I didn't expect it to fit as well as it does. Everything lined up perfectly with no adjustments or drilling necessary.

by:

Fit was perfect and arrived on time. Box was a little banged up, but I'm not surprised that a steel hitch was tougher than cardboard. Hardware kit was sufficient and still intact.

  • Correct Class III Curt Hitch for a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500
Hey George, thank for reaching out! The Curt Hitch # C13062 is only for the 2500 and 3500 trucks. Since you have a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 you need the Curt Hitch # 13339 instead.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit For 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD
We don't specify between the 1500 and 1500 HD in terms of fit in our guide, but I did check with our manufacturers for you to verify the fits for a trailer hitch receiver on your 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD. The correct fit is going to depend on your bumper, so you'll want to keep that in mind. I'll go ahead and list out the options for you, and each hitch has a 2" receiver: - Standard Bumper: Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class III - 6,000 lbs Towing/600 lbs Tongue Weight # 13322 -...

  • Hitch Receiver for 2001 Chevy Silverado with Roll Pan Bumper That Does Not Use License Plate Hole
You are correct. For the 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500, the Curt # 13932 is the only available hitch that can be used with the roll pan bumper. If you wanted to use one of the hitches designed to circumvent the deep drop bumpers that were often found on this model you could use the Curt # 13339. However, this is still a Class III hitch receiver, so it would not increase your towing capacity and there is not anything for use with an aftermarket roll pan bumper that is higher rated than that....

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 with Aftermarket Rear Bumper
I have the perfect option for you in the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13339 which is a confirmed fit for a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 model and actually designed specially for models with an aftermarket bumper. As you can see, there are no mounting tabs to attach to the bumper so you will not have any worries here and the receiver tube has a deep drop to clear larger aftermarket rear bumpers. The above Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is actually the only option we have that is designed...

I spoke with my contact at Curt and the Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13339, may work for you. Although this hitch is confirmed to fit a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with a deep drop bumper, this has not been tested with the Knapheide utility bed so you will have to take a couple of quick measurements. In order to determine if this hitch will work, you will need to measure from the bottom of the truck's frame to the bottom of the bumper and the distance from the closest frame mounting...

If your truck has a standard or step bumper bumper the Draw-Tite Hitch, part # 75362, will fit just fine. If the truck has a 10 inch Deep Drop bumper, you will need to use Curt Hitch part # 13339. If your Silverado has a factory bumper, then yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C15323, is the hitch that you will want to install on your 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic 1500. This hitch has a max Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) of 16,000 lbs, 17,000 lbs when used with a Weight Distribution (WD) system, and a max Tongue Weight (TW) of 2,400 lbs which doesn't change when using a WD system. • Recommended Hitch to Fit 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 with Tommy Lift
I may have a solution for you, but the Tommy Lift does present some issues and most hitches are going to be excluded from fitting on a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. However, I talked to my contact over at Curt and he confirmed that the Curt # 13339 will work with your Tommy Lift installed. This will give you a 2" receiver for your Silverado and Curt hitches are well known for their durability because of the thicker powder coat they use, so it's going to stand up to nicks and scratches a lot...

For the 2000 model year Chevy trucks there was both an actual Silverado model and C/K series models with a Silverado trim option. For an actual Silverado model, 1500, I recommend Curt hitch # C14332 rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight when NOT using weight distribution. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class V part # C15323 for the 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500, which will still give you the 2,400 lb tongue weight capacity you are looking for. If you look at the online owner's manual (can be found a variety of ways) then you can pin point your weight rating. This hitch is a fit for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 10 inch Deep Drop Bumper so I can't guarantee it will fit your truck with a body kit that is 7 inches below the frame.
