This hitch gives you the dependable capacity you need for towing and everyday hauling. With a 5,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 500-lb maximum tongue weight, it’s ready for small campers, utility trailers, and cargo carriers. Add a weight distribution setup and those limits increase to 7,500 lbs GTW and 750 lbs TW. The 2" x 2" receiver opening is standard, so most bike racks, ball mounts, and storage trays will fit right in without adapters.
The steel construction is fully welded and uses precision, robotic welding to maximize strength and ensure a consistent fit. The sturdy square-tube design gives this hitch a solid feel under load and helps keep trailers stable on rough roads. It comes finished in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer for superior rust resistance when exposed to rain, salt, or road grime.
This hitch bolts directly onto the frame using existing attachment points — no welding or fabrication needed. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions are included, so you can get it mounted with basic tools. For DIYers working in a driveway or garage, that simple bolt-on setup makes the job easier and faster than most heavy steel installs.
The gloss black powder coat doesn’t just look clean — it resists corrosion and holds up well over time. A limited lifetime warranty backs the build quality, giving long-term peace of mind that this hitch is made to handle real use year after year.

Perfect fit. Everything lined up. Thanks
All good and looks excellent
Easy to install, fits perfectly on a Ford E250.
Strong good looking work horse! Perfect to pull the RZR.
GREAT HITCH, NO DRILLING, WENT ON EASY.
I got my order within 2 days. And it fit perfect. Extremely pleased with the quality and service.
Product was good, easy to install and worked fine. etrailer gets a review of one star, won't use them again. Averages out to a generous three stars.
Product was complete ,in parts , also the way it was made . Very happy with this product ! No problem putting product on van .
Thank you etrailer.com Jerry H.
I'll mark you excellent even though I haven't checked the hitch yet to make sure it's right. Ordered another one from the Hitch store for a Lincoln Town car, was told no drilling but all holes had to be drilled on bottom and side of frame to tighten bolts. Will never order from them again. This experience has been great so far and will order from you again.
Have not installed hitch yet but it’s all here complete with hardware to mount
Would definitely recommend doing business with etrailer
45 min. installation with no drilling needed for my 2002 Ford E250 van. Had to drop and reposition the spare tire a bit, but the hitch fits and looks great. Plus, I got free shipping. Very satisified!
Good hitch, as advertised
I was able to install the Class-III hitch on my Ford E150 van in a day. It fit nicely - only the muffler had to be temporarily moved to get the bolts in as intended but that was only a minor time adder.
Towed my 3,500# trailer from SC to NM and back w/o issues.
Great product. Went right on without any drilling in less than an hour. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a medium duty hitch. Thanks etrailer!!!!
This hitch has worked wonderfully for the last year on my 1997 Ford E250. I easily installed the hitch in a under an hour. The spare tire had to be loosened while installing and I had to drill the frame in order to insert the forward bolts. The best way to drill the frame is to drill a small pilot hole and then drill the larger hole. We have used it to pull trailers and car dollies but we mostly use it to hold a motorcycle carrier.
I did not expect to have to straighten the bent side arm of the trailer hitch in a vice after it came out of the box. I did not think an E350 Ford van was so unusual as to require drilling the frame to make it fit as the instructions directed. I am glad this hitch will allow me to tow with my van, but I expected a product that would fit when it came out of the box, and it did not.

This is a review specifically for installing on a 1990 Ford E350 Super Wagon with the extended body. I did not have to relocate the exhaust or spare tire, but I did need to drill all 6 mounting holes. This was not much trouble at all and I had the hitch installed by myself in about 2 hours.
This hitch feels very strong and I have towed my 2000 pound boat trailer several times with no problem at all. It's the best looking part of my whole van!
The driver's side mounting arm was bent inward when I unboxed the hitch. After inspecting in place it would need a 2 inch outward adjustment. I do not have the tools necessary to straighten heavy iron but after 3 bumps against one of my high maple trees it was straight enough to line up. The spare tire has to be lowered and rehoisted more forward than normal so I hope it stays in that position. The kit had everything I needed to get a right fit. So...I have the boat in the drive and beat the rain which would have softened the yard too much to get the boat across the lot without making ruts. I am happy the hitch arrived so quickly.
