Rated to handle 30,000 lbs gross towing weight and 7,500 lbs vertical load, this gooseneck hitch is made for serious towing. The heavy-duty underbed design and double-lock system keep the chrome-plated hitch ball securely in place with two locking pins instead of one. That solid connection means you can pull equipment, livestock, or heavy trailers with confidence that the hitch isn’t going anywhere.
When the job’s done, you can flip the 2-5/16" ball over for storage right inside the hitch. The ball drops upside down into the same hole, giving you a clean, flat truck bed without removing hardware. A rubber cover fits over the ball hole to seal out grime while keeping the bed looking neat. The chrome ring around the opening gives it a tight, low-profile finish that blends into the bed floor.
The comfort-grip handle mounts in the truck’s wheel well so you can lock or release the ball without crawling into the bed. It’s spring-loaded for a positive feel and can be positioned on either side of the bed. Built-in safety-chain hookups sit right on top for quick access when you’re hooking up trailers. The double-pin locking design adds an extra layer of security while towing tough loads.
The included installation kit and Grade 8 hardware make setup strong and straightforward. It installs below the bed using a single 4" hole for the hitch ball—no welding required. Zinc plating protects the locking mechanism from corrosion, while the black powder coated steel frame adds long-term durability. For added versatility later on, an adapter plate (C16210 - sold separately) lets you tow fifth wheels, and an offset ball (C602 - sold separately) gives extra clearance between cab and trailer when space gets tight.

Install was easy other than having to ream out the holes on 2 brace pieces because the bolt included in the kit was too large to fit. After install the hitch is easy to use and tucks out of the way nicely when not in use.
I installed the hitch myself with ease. And the goose neck hitch has worked flawlessly every time I've used it , next I will purchase the fithwheel attachment most likely before the end of this year.

Excellent product at a great price. I was a little worried about the quality of Curt hitches because of the big difference in price from other hitches. I have now installed a Curt gooseneck hitch and another higher priced brand and the fit, finish and quality of materials is the same in my opinion.
Not a bad install measure twice on everything and you shouldn’t run into issues worked great with the fifth wheel adapter I made no complaints.

After a year still flawless
The Curt Underbed Hitch w/ installation kit is every thing needed to set up to TOW my 5th Wheel. order process and delivery was great. I will order for etrailer as need arise.

Not any problems works fine. I installed the goose neck hitch my self
Received everything in a reasonable time. The install was easy! The kit was missing a nut which I communicated with my point of contact through email, and they had a new handwear kit sent right out. Thank you for your quick response.
Product was shipped and received within time frame given. Installed nicely, within 3 hours. Had to pry up truck bed, dented from hauling to get hitch in, and hole-saw walked a bit on me, but other than that good install.
I had already had to return 2 hitches to another company because they sent the wrong ones. I ordered from etrailer.com and got the right hitch the first time and it has been amazing! The directions wanted the hole drilled in the wrong spot in my bed so before you start drilling make sure you measure and check and double check EVERYTHING. But that was literally the only thing that wasn't perfect. I haul valuable lives with my truck and this hitch has been great!

Perfectly! I haul my gooseneck horse trailer with my F-150 all the time, trailer hardly comes off the truck tbh. This hitch has worked and held up great! It was really nice to find a hitch that is compatible with my ½ton as hauling a gooseneck with one isnt something to see all the time. I get strange looks all the time and when people realize this is possible I direct them to etrailer.com to find their hitches!

Wow, what can I say, this is an extremely solid, well built unit.
I knew it was about 90 pound, but when you take it out of the boxes the quality really hits you. Everything fits just as it is supposed to. The bolts are all Grade 8, and when you get everything torqued you know this unit is truly part of the truck frame.
Maybe a little over kill for our 5500# Escape 5.0 TA, but I wanted that confidence while connected, and I got it.
Coupled this with the Anderson Ultimate Hitch in Black Out and couldn't be happier.
