Question:

I have a 2013 Ford F-150 Platinum with a 6.5 foot bed. Will this work with my truck, it says 8 Foot Bed in the description, but doesnt say any others.

Yes, your 2013 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed is 100 percent compatible with the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C60721-5W.

This is the same gooseneck hitch as the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60721 but for the purposes of our fit guide, since the Recon is not a sliding hitch, it isn't added as a fit for the 6-1/2 foot bed of a 2013 F-150.

It will fit your F-150, though you will definitely want to be cautious when making any type of sharper turn if you plan on using the Demco Recon # DM8550045.

I also wanted to mention, that if your 2013 F-150 needed a 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring harness, the correct part for your truck is the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56070.
