As I see you have a 2014 Ford F-150 short bed truck you should consider adding the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing Gooseneck Hitch Ball # C67DR as this will reduce a lot of the shock transferred to your truck. We also have the 4" Offset Ball # C602 if you need the additional clearance.
