Question:
Hi Im looking for a goodnecck hitch for my 2013 ford f150, 6.5 ft bed. I have the firestone ride rite helper springs. #F2525 and would like to keep them if possible. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The mounting plate used on your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2525 prevents the installation of a custom fit gooseneck hitch like the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60721 you found on your 2013 Ford F-150. A Universal Gooseneck # C65500 could be mounted in your bed but it will require some Brackets # RP58314 and drilling into both the plate and your frame.
It would be easiest to replace your air springs with the Air Lift for 2WD # AL88228 or 4WD # AL88200. Then you could install the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1104 so you can use their 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4085 since you have the 6-1/2' bed.
