Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number CM48500. This is the CIPA Round, Convex HotSpot Mirror. This is going to help eliminate dangerous blind spots while you're driving. It's going to let you safely and easily pass or change lanes. The Convex face is going to provide a wide field of vision. Here on the back side, it's going to attach to the arm with a ball-and-socket joint.
That's going to let you rotate the mirror in all directions. That way, you can get it positioned perfectly, for your particular application. A very simple installation, it can install on either side of your vehicle. It's got the L-shaped bracket. This is included for quick, bolt-on mounting, and it can be mounted to a variety of applications as well. Not just vehicles, but I've seen people put these on trailers, campers, RVs, farm equipment, agricultural equipment, and so on.
It's a really great tool that can be applied to a lot of different scenarios or applications. The housing on the unit is going to be a nice, stainless steel construction with a black finish, so it's going to look good and it's also going to stand up really well against rust and corrosion. With this part number, you're going to get one blind spot mirror. If we take a look at the diameter of the mirror face, that's going to give us a measurement of about five inches.
