No need to fiddle with your gas can or worry about leaks while you siphon from it. Instead, set it and forget it with this automatic fuel pump. The nozzle has a clip that attaches it to the tank of your vehicle, preventing it from falling out and causing a spill. Once everything is in place, just press the "On" button and the auto-stop sensor in the nozzle will detect when the tank is full and shut the pump off on its own.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Terra Pump battery-powered fuel transfer pump for gas cans and racing utility jugs. Now, folks, this is gonna let you transfer gas from your can to your vehicle easily and efficiently. It's perfect for racetrack, compatible with a large variety of other liquids and different gas containers, runs on four batteries that are AA, not included. We do sell 'em separately, item number DU58QR, if you need some, and this is gonna allow you to transfer approximately up to about 125 gallons of fuel or liquids that are approved with one full charge set of four AA batteries, again, not included. So this is gonna go on.
You have, obviously, the fill nozzle here. You can have it click on here so it doesn't come off, and then it does have an auto shut off sensor inside of here so when the tank's full, it's gonna automatically shut off, (nozzle clicks) and you do have the actual pump itself that goes down inside the tank, and then you have the cap here, which this will adapt to (pump thuds) and go on like such. So again, very easy to use, very easy to operate, this is the Terra Pump battery-powered fuel transfer pump. Folks, as always, I'm Steven. If you have any questions about this or any of the products, reach out to us here at etrailer.
We're more than happy to assist you. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.

I am shocked to hear this Brad. I have recommended this to people before and have had great feedback. Did you make sure the threads are clean? I would also make sure that you are not over tightening, that could be causing the leaking as well. Please let me know if this does the trick.

It is still working good. I did have a problem lately as the batteries corroded. Not the units problem. I now keep the batterys in a plastic bag.

Not good. Have used it several times and it functions very well. Or did. Until it developed a split in the plastic output tube and leaked diesel all over. And worse yet ...it doesnt appear to be repairable. Cant take it apart. Cant find any source for parts. Havent yet tossed it in the garbage but likely will have to in the near future. Would not recommend to anyone.

Have used this pump and a second one I bought for transferring gas and diesel, works great, no issues other than battery life. Would suggest again to use rechargeable batteries or to be able to slip on a battery pack from DeWalt or others.
