Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located just behind the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

I received the package and within an hour and 15 minutes I install the hitch laying on the ground with no jacks or hoist. I also cut out the back of plastic panel and install it and looks real professional . I was quoted over $400 for the same package. In my opinion the E trailer is definitely the best way to go. Plug and play! This trailer power cable plugged directly into my factory Cadillac SRX wire harness. No wire cutting and splicing, absolutely the easiest installation I could imagine. Highly recommended for anyone who can use it. See photos showing the purchased product and where it plugged into the factory wiring harness.
I was very pleased with the quality and the ease in which the hitch installed. Everything fit nicely on my 2015 Cadillac SRX. Attached are pics after the hitch was installed. I modified the original center panel by making a few cuts on the panel. I think it looks clean. Of course when I use the hitch I will have to take two screws out of the panel to remove. I used tie strips to secure the wiring to the top of the hitch. The panel hides the hitch & wiring while not in use.
It took a little longer for delivery than I expected but it was exactly what I ordered and needed. It took only 2 minutes to install and the video was spot on. I also ordered the receiver hitch and that was perfect also. I got a few emails from a guy named George asking if everything was ok. Top notch company.
I found the installation MUCH easier than I expected, the receiver fit perfectly! Also, the folks at eTrailer were VERY helpful, and my order arrived quickly and correctly! I installed it on a 2015 Cadillac SRX.

Very easy. I read other reviews and installing the harness is important. Total time about 25 min for everything. Took longer to modify the cover than install the hitch and harness. Etrailer was great to do deal with. 5 Stars.

I modifed the optional cover, not the original. Cadillacsoptional cover is made to fit their hitch that is 1 14.The 2 requires cutting access for the reciever to stickthrough. The part number for the optional fascia ts19172271. Hope this helps you.
Was exactly what I ordered, arrived as promised and snapped into my existing wiring harness without any challenges.....10 minute job!

Purchased both the Class III receiver hitch and T-One wiring harness for a 2011 Cadillac SRX. Both were delivered within five days. I watched the installation video and had both the hitch and wiring harness installed in less than 45 minutes. Great product and a true plug and play product.
I purchased a Hidden Hitch for our 2013 Cadillac SRX Performance after reviewing your online installation video. I also ordered a light pig tail that was literally plug and play. It took about two hours and I trimmed the valence and reinstalled to get a factory look. I could not be happier with the quality, value and ease of installation.
Easy plug and play. Some forums indicate Cadillac only provides the harness on all SRX models up to 2012. Newer models must have the tow package. Mine is a 2012 with no tow package. Make sure you install the harness before installing the hitch. Extremely difficult to plug in the harness afterwards, unless you have very small wrists and hands.
The original part that I ordered was wrong. So, I replied to an email that I had received from George regarding the purchase. I did not have to call!! Much to my surprise, both Nicole and George with etrailer responded to my email and gave very clear easy directions to return the item to them. I really appreciated their emails to be sure my return and second purchase went smoothly! I will definitely order from this company again!

Excellent product and customer service!
The wiring connection was perfect for my 2010 Caddy SRX. They described the location of the harness and I simply put them together and everything worked perfectly. What a relief because I thought I was going to wire the connections and doing that may have caused other electrical problems.

The YouTube video you have posted on installing the wiring harness on my 2015 Cadillac SRX saved me from having the hitch company cut into all of the wires on the car. They did not know that the car came pre-wired for a hitch and you only needed the connection.
I ordered the part and installed it my self according to your video in under 5 minutes.

Simple plug into existing wiring harness. The vehicle comes prepared to take this (2013 Cadillac SRX). You just remove a protective dummy plug out of the harness and plug this in. Piece of cake. BUT make sure you do the wiring before you install the hitch. Otherwise it's very hard to get to.
I just purchased a hitch for my 2010 Cadillac SRX, it fit like a glove and bolted up very easy. what a great product. Just as they stated the wire harness was waiting to be clipped in place with the adapter provided. Nothing at all to say , that isn't great…very cool and easy…I will be back …Thanks E trailer. dub
Trailer hitch was easy to install, had a neighbor give me a hand, worked better with another person to help hold the hitch up while inserting the bolts. Fit was a bit tight but we were able to work it out.
Would recommend.
Easy installation! Basically, I am a cheap Milwaukee kraut, and when I asked for prices of having a trailer hitch installed, I balked at the roughly $300.00 price tag. I logged on to etrailer, found the hitch and wiring adapter, shipped free for a bit more than $140.00. When it arrived, I logged onto YouTube, found the instructions, and installed the hitch in under an hour. Great product and easy-to-follow instructions made the install a piece of cake!
So Simple to hook up to my 2015 Caddy SRX. Hitch was a breeze and so was wiring harness.
