I have a 2012 SRX. Where do I plug this connector?

Expert Reply:
The port that you plug the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118259 into is located behind the rear bumper above the place a hitch would be installed. This harness is designed for vehicles that have a factory tow package.
I have attached a link to an installation video for this harness on a 2012 SRX you can check out. At the 10 second mark on the video it shows where you can find the port you need to connect the harness.
If you do not have the factory tow package, you will need to hardwire a harness like part # C59236. I have attached a link to an installation video for this harness.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
