i have 2013 cadillac srx and id like to know can i use this product for pop-up camper with electrical breaks , are breaks gonna work? thank you

For your 2013 Cadillac SRX, you will need a brake controller and wiring for a pop-up camper with electric brakes. For this, I recommend the Tekonsha Primus Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # TK90160. This when connected will apply the brakes to your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your SRX. This controller has the manual override lever that allows you to apply just the trailer brakes and has an easy to read LED Display. To install this in your SRX, you will need the Universal Wiring Kit for brake controllers # ETBC7.

This wiring will utilize a 4-way flat wiring harness. If you don't already have one installed, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118259 if you have the tow package or the 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit - Includes Tester # C59496 you mentioned if you do not have the tow package. The 4-way flat by itself will give the trailer lights, but will not give it 12V power, reverse lights, or brakes.
