Installation: Connection point is located under the vehicle, behind the rear bumper on the passenger side. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed under the vehicle close to the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.
Warning: Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
- Max. stop/turn light: (7.5 amps)
- Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

That was the easiest installation I have ever done for trailer lights . Factory tow package Etrailer.com sent the perfect factory light plug kit .. Plug and go literally 2 minutes done wow!!! Just a simple item, a wiring harness that pluged in to a factory plug. Sure beat cutting the factory plug off and splicing wires. this item was first class, and so was the service I received. Sorry no picture, however I did use a few wire ties to snake this along the back side of the reciever/hitch with some electic tape to keep it from twisting, made for a first class install. would definently consider buying from this place again.

Decided to go fishing again after 30 years so have been working to make that happen. I am driving my son's old college vehicle, a 2001 Nissan Xterra. Needed a trailer hitch and wiring to pull my little boat and trailer. Called and got Chris W. She was very helpful in helping me figure out what exactly I needed. Everything fit and was fairly simple to install. The best thing to me was that the lights worked! Chris was great! Thanks.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy install, maybe 30 minutes and the light kit was plug and go. Did not have to remove the tailpipe so that sped things along.
The hardest part is dropping the spare on the Xterra, after that it was a breeze.

Wiring harness fit perfectly. Plugged it in to my vehicle connector and tested it and it worked as advertised. Next plugged it in to my trailer connector and again it worked as advertised. No problems with the installation.

Wonderful product, clipped into the factory feed after removal of the factory protective cap. Easy, just press down on the nub at to of factory cap with screw driver and pull cap off. Product is identical and slips right on. Christmas in trailerville with all the lights working. Go xterra go boating go e z trailer.

Part was easy to install but the protective cover on vehicle harness was a little bit of a pain to get off but once off the trailer harness was installed and it worked fine....i do recommend that you get harness protector its cheap and protects the harness about $2 then tie strap harness to vehicle.

The wiring harness is well made. The wire is heavy duty and put together well. I would recommend purchasing the wiring housing to attach the harness to and a plastic wire sleeve or it will look sloppy with zip ties everywhere.

Easy to install, holds up great. Worked the first time. Wired direct to stock plug. 4 stars because I off road a lot and have to zip tie it up to keep it from hanging up on rocks and branches.

Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the sockets of the existing plug to see if its functional. Great stuff and everything works fine, I did lose the cap by misplacing it but Ive been pulling my trailer and kayak fine. FYI you guys do a great job and your help videos really helped with me installing the hitch. God bless!
