Question:
I have a 2002 Nissan xterra that I would like to install a 7 way round hitch plug. My current setup has a 4 pin flat. Are there any 7 ways available for this year? Thanks

You can convert the existing 4-pole flat trailer connector like # 118244 that is now on your 2002 Nissan Xterra to a 7-way by using our kit # ETBC7. This kit includes a 7-way socket, wiring, connectors and everything you need to adapt your wiring for 7-way operation. An installation video and article are linked for your reference.
Once you install the kit you will have a 7-way socket that carries all trailer lighting functions as well as 12V power and trailer brake power too if you choose to also install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885.
There is no direct plug-and-play 7-way for your Xterra.
