Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this CURT vehicle wiring harness with five-pole flat trailer connector. This five-way flat connector when it's installed at the back of your vehicle is going to power your trailer's signal lights. The fifth pin is going to give you a connection for your reverse lights to allow proper functioning of your hydraulic brake actuator. This is going to also be compatible with your four-way flat connectors, and this is going to be a simple installation. This is going to hard wire to your existing wiring on your vehicles with two-wire lighting systems, and the lead length of this harness is going to be 60 inches.
And as you probably know, just going through the colors here, what each function's going to serve. The blue wire is going to be your reverse lights, and then the yellow wire that you see here in the center, that's going to be the left turn and brake lights. The green wire is going to be the right turn and brake lights. The brown wire is going to be taillights. And, of course, your white wire is going to be ground.

I wouldn’t buy nothing from etrailer. Tried to return the item I bought and was told to sell it online it would cost your company to much money to pay for shipping then the wiring cost in the first place.

Piece of cake!! Installation basically a no-brainer, especially with the help of the video installation clip from e-trailer. Complete installation took less than 30 minutes including the modifications I made to the wire harness and the floor of the vehicle to get a permanent installation underneath the vehicle adjacent to the trailer hitch frame mount. I'll definitely get another wiring kit from e-trailer whenever this vehicle gets replaced.

Nice inexpensive wiring kit if you arent afraid to diy. I had our van wired up in about 30 minutes.
