Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flare It PEX T connector fitting. This T is going to connect your pipes and hoses in your RV fresh water plumbing system. So whether you're repairing leaky connections or installing new lines, this is gonna do a great job for you. This will work with your PEX pipes, the old, gray PB pipes, and your polyvinyl tubing. We've got two three quarter-inch barbed connections here that are going to fit your pipes and hoses with a three quarter-inch inner diameter.
And then we also have a half-inch barbed connection that's gonna fit your pipes and hoses with a half inch inner diameter. So our three quarter-inch barbed connections are kind of at a right angle from each other, and then we've got that half inch barbed there. So having that barbed connection with the compression end means that you're not gonna need any tools to get a nice secure fit. So basically the way this is gonna work, you'll slide that connection or that compression fitting there onto your tube, and then you'll install the barb into your tube. That might take a little bit of wiggling to get that properly secured inside there, but then once it is, you'll just slide that compression fitting over top, and once you thread it down, that's gonna really grip on there.
Give you a nice secure connection. I actually did this the other night just to test it out, and while I was able to tighten it down very easily by hand, it took several tools to loosen it up again and get it off of there. So it is gonna give you a very secure fitting so you'll be able to trust that it's gonna hold well for you, even with the movement that you experience in your RV as it's getting jostled around. It's gonna hold up well for you. It is constructed of a polyoxymethylene construction, so it is gonna be very durable and resistant to stress cracking.
So if you are doing some repairs or improvements to your RV's fresh water plumbing system, this is gonna be a great way to go. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
