Adding trailer wiring usually means tracking down wires and splicing connections, but this harness skips all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs directly into the vehicle’s existing tail light wiring to give you a working 4-flat connector. No testing circuits, no cutting, just plug it in and it’s ready to go.
Towing puts extra load on your electrical system, but the built-in powered converter keeps that from happening. It reduces strain on the vehicle wiring and uses surface-mount technology for solid performance and reliability. That means consistent trailer lighting without dimming or overloading factory circuits.
The integrated 4-pole flat connector covers the basics—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—so you can hook up small trailers right away. It’s also the same connector you’ll use with an adapter like the ETBC7 kit if you ever need to add a 7-way for a brake controller or charging line later on.
The harness includes a fuse holder designed for a 15-amp ATC/ATO fuse. That gives an added safety layer by guarding against shorts or overloads in the trailer wiring. If you ever need to replace the holder, part # SWC9539 is the correct match for this setup.
