Question:

I need a hitch for a 2013 VW Passat TDI SE. I noticed a hitch option from Curt and Hidden Hitch, but cant seem to find a wiring kit for either hitch in my model. Please advise on which product to purchase to wire the lights to a trailer with minimal modifications. Thank you for your time.

We offer several light-duty Class I trailer hitch for your 2013 VW Passat TDI SE that can be seen on the link provided. All will require similar installation steps including temporary lowering of the exhaust (for better frame access) and trimming of the rear fascia and/or under-body panels. I suggest Draw-Tite # 24880 along with ball mount # 3590 and either 1-7/8-inch ball # 19256 or 2-inch # 19258.
