Question:
Hi, I am interested in this harness for my Jeep altthough the Factory installed adapter on my Jeep has 7 x 2 slots for pins and i can see in your photo online your adapter only has 4 x 2 pins, in a 5 x 2 arrangement. Can you help please? Thanks,

Are you sure you have found the correct harness to use to install the part # 118381 which has been confirmed as a fit for your 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the tow package. It will be under the vehicle, behind the bumper on the driver's side of the vehicle.
If you check out the video I attached you will see what the connector looks like.
If all else fails you can install the # C56009 which will bypass the factory trailer wiring and will plug in line with the vehicle taillights instead.
I attached an install video for this product as well.
