Today, we're going to take a look at the Erickson Stretchable Truck Bed Cargo Net, part number, EM01012. The Erickson Truck Bed Cargo Net is made out of a stretching netting that covers all of the cargo in your truck bed. It has a spider web shaped design that provides all-around containment, something that normal straps or bungee cords just can't provide. The net does come with 22 of these hooks here, they are made of a polycarbonate material so the hook itself will not rust, nor will it damage the finish on your vehicle. Also by providing a total of 22 hooks, you have multiple locations that you can secure the cargo net to the bed of your vehicle. The cargo net does measure 52" by 70" in the unstretched measurements. The Erickson Cargo Net does come with a convenient storage bag that zips closed so that you can store the cargo net when not in use. The size of it allow it to easily slip under the seat or any other storage compartment in your vehicle.
Now that we've gone over some of the features of the Erickson Cargo Net, let's go ahead and show you how we use it on our truck bed. You can see here that we have some lightweight items in the bed of our pick-up that we want to secure and make sure they don't blow out as we're going down the road. Go ahead and take our cargo net here. Go ahead and start up here at the corner of our truck bed where we'll take one of our hooks, hook it in one of the stake pocket areas. We'll then go ahead and move over here to the other front corner, again taking a hook, hooking it into the stake pocket area. Now, as you can see here, our hook is actually shaped in the wrong direction. You can easily flip them over by just removing the hook from the web of the cargo net, then re-clip it back on, just like that.
Then it allows us to hook it. I have to go ahead and change a couple of these over along the way. This truck bed cargo net can be used in multiple applications, not just with truck beds. It can be used on trailers and even roof-mounted cargo carriers. So, remember, the next time you need to haul something in the bed of your truck or your trailer that you don't want to possibly blow away, remember that Erickson has you covered with the Erickson Stretchable Truck Bed Cargo Net, part number, EM01012. .

Highly recommend. I use the cargo cover all the time. The load stays secure and the quality can’t be beat. You won’t be disappointed
This cargo net worked great when taking a load of cardboard to recycle. It folds up nice and fits in the provided bag and stored under the seat of my pickup ready for the next use. Thanks
We are very happy w our cargo net. First it came at a very reasonable cost and arrived very quickly. Secondly it was exactly as described. Dimensions were rt on the mark, made from quality materials, and worked just like had envisioned it would.
Thanks for providing a quality product at such a reasonable cost.
Very happy with our purchase. I use the cargo nets quite a bit and it is holding up great. Still looks brand new and for the price the quality couldn’t be better. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
I have not used the cargo carrier or net, but both of them seem to be constructed well and built to last. I am very pleased with this purchase and believe the value is there for the price. The shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the company communicated well throughout and the transaction was an overall A+. I would definitely shop here again and recommend to others...
I use the Erickson cargo tie downs on the average once a week for the last twelve months and it still feels like new. It hasn't stretched or frayed and still looks great.
Excellent cargo net! We have had it on our truck roof rack over our goods for the past 12 months continuously. We have driven over 18k miles from NY to Alaska, back down west coast to AZ and it looks as new as the day we put it on. Not even faded. NOTE we do use 2 additional ratchet straps over top to prevent any luffing. We also found we like to zip tie thru the grommets to our roof rack for added security and safety. Very pleased with product.
It works just the way I want it to. There's nothing to hook it to on the tailgate, so I hook it to the outside latch and that works fine, too.
This is what I needed the net cover for, to keep my recyclables from flying out of the truck, all over the highway. Been there done that. I recycle paper, cardboard cartons, all kinds of glass, every recyclable plastic, aluminum and steel cans. I used to stuff it into the cab of the truck, and that was just ... bad! Now I can use the bed of my truck as it was meant to be used: to haul stuff! Yay!
Have had a web for years and use it constantly. The hooks are open and were great. Not sure about the hooks on the new one but will give it a try and if necessary we can switch them. We are full timing in an RV so we always have items in the back of our pick-up and covered with our web. Even when we go grocery shopping they are a great help.
Loving it. Have used it many times on the road.
My old (old) Spiderweb cargo net was stolen out of my (unlocked) truck. While initially peeved at the world, I am so glad it has left my life and I have this Erickson net. The old one was a piece of crap in that it was a chore to untangle? Why? The hooks were open faced and hooked and re-hooked onto the web strands while I attempted untangle to use it again. One step forward, two steps back. It was impossible to fold up and store without creating a giant mess. With this net, the hooks are made so they do not hook at all to the netting. I can just roll it up and stored it back in its bag (easilyh). When it is time to use it again I fling it into the air like unfurling a clean top sheet to put on my bed. Woosh... open - no tangles The Karma to you Mr car burglar low-life crook is that you are stuck with my old net. Hahahaha. I have this one now - it is excellent. By the way, it shipped immediately and landed here a couple days later.
Net material itself is okay, made of a nylon, shock-cord material. But hooks are a rather soft plastic and bend easily under stress. Flimsy tabs on hooks "snap" closed when you attach the hooks onto something– these tabs are so thin and flexible, I can't imagine they would prevent the hooks coming off under any real stress. Overall, I would not recommend this to secure a load of any value. I supplemented the net with bungees when using. Okay for lightweight loads if you don't put much stress on the hooks.

Net is not heavy enough to last. Love the idea of the net but it needs to be heavier to last more than a year. Ours is already breaking as it is half the size of the first net that we had for years that our daughter bought me.
