Best 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Hitch Adapters

When hooked up, my travel trailer was close enough to my chevy 2500 hd that the tailgate wouldn't clear the power tongue jack. The HR26 moved the trailer back 6 inches to allow more than enough room. I was using a 2 1/2" to 2" reducer anyway so this was perfect. I wasn't sure how the tongue wt. would be affected so I called The experts at etrailer and got the help I needed. Great products, professional help and fast delivery, etrailer is the place to go!

This is a well made product with an excellent powder coating. I had to saw 1-7/8" off the end to clear my spare tire. I am using it to tow a trailer with my pickup camper on my truck.

Well finished and well designed Reese reducer sleeve. Perfectly reduces my 2008 2500 Chevy HD 2 1/2 inch receiver to 2 inch.

We the main product and delivery was fine BUT the pin was too shorts for our GMC 2500 hitch. I had to go buy another one.

Not sure what other people are talking about but the holes all lined up perfectly and the 48” tube steel fit perfectly with very little movement. That can be remedied with a simple hitch clamp but I don’t think I need it. Very solid with some weight to it. Adding the wire extension the holes also in perfect alignment. I chose to order direct from the website, I feel I will get the best product and customer service. Expensive but much needed to haul my trailer with truck camper. Always great stuff from etrailer.

Just received the 41/48 inch hitch extension today so haven’t actually used it. However, one can tell the high quality by looking at the welds and thick paint coating. This item is extremely heavy. I expected some weight to it, but it surprised me. Also, the tubing has very tight tolerances. I have two ball mounts, neither of which slid into the extension on their own. I had to pound them in and tap them out with a 3 pound hammer. Once paint and labels were scraped away by this action the ball mounts were able to be slid in by hand. This extension will be used on my dually carrying my truck camper. I’ll be towing an aluminum trailer with a Can Am Spyder. Total weight towed will be less than 2000 pounds so I don’t expect the extension to be subjected to any stress.

I think it is a great product but expensive. In retrospect I could not do what I wanted with the truck and hitch so I spent the money needlessly. Not any fault of your company. I would have been just as well to leave the stock OEM and not spent the money anyway. Live and learn.

At first I was skeptical but now that I’ve put it together I’m very impressed. This thing is heavy duty and pulls my trailer no problem. Korren did a great job helping me out. Excellent customer service.

Good fit...had to trim 1.5 inch's to allow for the spare tire on the Chevy 2500 HD. Only problem is the pin hole does not line up with the holes in the hitch....so will have to use a dremel tool to trim some metal away from the existing pin hole on the extension. One other comment, I wish the raise on the ball end of the extension was 4 inchs higher.... It is low to the ground, I am concerned I will have clearance problems with some driveways at gas stations, with the welded skid plate on the extension dragging....

I had to remove burrs from the inside of the tube, both at the holes drilled (for hitch pin) and the end where the ball hitch goes in. The welded boss on the end of the tube had burs left over from the cutoff operation. The ball hitch would only slide in a couple of inches prior to deburring it. Also the packaging was not very good, see pictures. No damage to the product but I am surprised it even stayed in the box during the trip here, it was completely loose in the box and tore it apart during transport.

Very disappointed in the packaging. It was thrown in a box with nothing else. The box was ripped on both ends on the side where the hitch busted through. Scratched up around the main hitch part. Mostly from rubbing I guess and the side that were sticking out we’re scared. I did install it anyways but if this is how they ship there products I will not buy again.

Quality seems good, haven’t had the opportunity to tow yet but it fits the receiver perfectly

Product quality is fine, however, tried to use with an ebike rack on upper hitch and flat tow hitch on bottom. Vehicle sway at highway speeds was too much, and I found bike rack on back of the towed Jeep was better.

Appropriately heavy for the job!

This items works really well as the hitch I have ($300+) was for a 2" opening and my new truck has a 2.5" opening. This items bridges the gap although it does make the hitch unit extend about 1' to 1.5" further out. Not an issue if you have adequate chain length.

Love the concept. Very simple. There is a weld bead that goes down the inside. This prevented the sleeve from sliding down smoothly. I placed the item with the side down like the instructions stated and used some hammer persuation to get the adaptor down only to find that the holes for the reciever did not line up. After using a gear to pull the adaptor off and turning it over opposite of what the instructions said to do I had to persuade it down again and the holes lined up. Fits perfectlly into the 21/2 reciever, so I should be good to go if I never need to remove it.

Structurally strong! Chain and turnbuckles created an extension for my RV extension bumper with storage box. Thought with chains it might need constant re-tightening but has remained tight, after initial trip of 5500mi. Of towing car dolly!

I’ve had the superhitch with 24” extension mounted on my 2013 Ram 2500 for 1 year now and use it frequently to pull my 16 x 7 enclosed trailer with my motorcycle and other gear inside. The hitch and extension give me the towing capacity I need for pulling trailers behind my Lance Truck Camper. I highly recommend the SuperHitch!

Was looking for a way to carry 2 e-bikes on a Hollywood rack, and tow my Jeep, behind my Class A RV. This dual hitch looks like it will do exactly what I want, at least when doing my test set-up. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5star is because when the rack and Blue Ox tow bar were installed, there was significant “slop”. I resolved this problem by buying an adapter at the local hardware store, and it is now tight as it should be.

Exactly what I needed. Now able to add storage box and still pull tow Dolly.

I have a Can Am Defender and the actual hitch is up under the back end so when I hooked up a trailer, I couldn't raise or lower the trailer without the crank handle hitting the tail gate, now I have plenty clearance and I love it.

Works like a champ. I’d gotten a new truck with larger receiver and obviously didn’t want to buy a new ball mount for our weight distributing hitch. Using the adapter initially hurt my head as a ‘band aid’ solution, but it worked flawlessly on a recent 2000 mile trip. Zero regrets; will never hesitate to use it.

This was just what was needed. Fits so that sleeve is even with receiver so that a hitch stabilizer/clamp will work. Nice sturdy material with high quality finish.

I got this hitch extender to put on my camper so that I could mount my bike rack. It worked like a charm!! The bike rack and bike were super solid on the trip cross country!!

The 4 foot hitch performed great. I bought the extra lenght to get it further behind my truck camper, I have a 3 foot hang over. The only problem was this made my 20 foot welded flat boat catch a lot of wind knocking my fuel milage way down. It also does not let my steps fold down. I should have gone with the 3 foot extension. live and learn.

Wow. Who would have believed I could have my heavy 11.5' Camper (which was well stocked, I should add) and pull a cargo trailer loaded with shop tools, workbench, and hardware. Handled well on highways through mountain passes, etc. Assembly and installation should have been much easier but the poor quality of the photos with the instructions was a bit of an impediment.

Not surprising to me, the cardboard package containing the Cannon Extension was damaged. However, the extension is so solid there was no apparent damage to the product. I was disappointed that the package failed to include four of the (6) required 3/8 inch shackles. Your packaging department could use some work. Overall, I’m looking forward to completing the required parts list and using the product.

The hitch worked great. I pulled a 12ft Wells Cargo enclosed trailer with a motorcycle on board. The reason I purchased this hitch, I have a 101/2 ft Lance camper that extends pass the bumper. I used it on a F350. I did use a Equla-I-Zer sway control hitch because of the tongue weight of my trailer and I believe it made this extension hitch work better.
