Works as advertised. Correct fit for my 2019 Chevy 2500 HD WT Duramax. Now I can use this 2 inch hitch for both my 2500 with factory 2.5 inch hitch and my Yukon XL Denali with a 2 inch Class V Hitch

This was just what was needed. Fits so that sleeve is even with receiver so that a hitch stabilizer/clamp will work. Nice sturdy material with high quality finish.

Works like a champ. I’d gotten a new truck with larger receiver and obviously didn’t want to buy a new ball mount for our weight distributing hitch. Using the adapter initially hurt my head as a ‘band aid’ solution, but it worked flawlessly on a recent 2000 mile trip. Zero regrets; will never hesitate to use it.

Had just purchased a new vehicle with a 2" trailer hitch, but needed the HT02 in order to use the 1 1/4" shank on my bike rack. So easy to set up. Very pleased!

It worked, till it didn't. It's a short smaller tube inside a larger tube, only held together by two spot welds. The spot welds split/detached allowing the inner sleeve free movement! I have a bike w stinger expanded to grip the inner tube and a little safety catch on outside. The safety catch was the only thing keeping my rack from sliding completely off! For the price this should've been a solid milled piece. Don't rely on these welds unless you have two through hitch pins one on car and one through the adapter end.

This item saved me from purchasing a new hitch since my new truck has a 2.5" receiver. Perfect.

The hitch adapter and 90 degree mount solved my desire to mount my electric wench on my auto trailer replacing the manual wench. See photo. The 2" sleeve would not come out of the existing 2" receiver so I used the hitch adapter to make the transition. The etrailer experts correctly told me there would be some play in this joint. However, it works here (as this is not for towing). I also used the 90 degree mount upside down (also not an approved application). But again no towing is involved. I did need to drill a new hole in the receiver.

It does what it’s designed to do. The holes are hard to line up when being used with a 80lb gen y hitch. Over all I would buy again.
