Best 2006 Dodge Caravan Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

So far so good. Product arrived quickly with no damage. Installed from start to finish in 20 minutes. Perfect fit. The way it's designed the spare tire can still easily be removed. Exactly what I was looking for. I have not installed the wires yet but I'm sure they will go on as easily as the hitch. I will tell everyone I know that needs a hitch to look at etrailer.com first. To be honest, I use it upside down. I needed a hitch with rise, but none were available at time of purchase, and yours, inverted, works perfectly! The welds are regularly checked and remain all secure. It's a good hitch.

Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.

Easy to use and haven't had any trouble towing my small trailer with motorcycle on board. Def recommend.

This part came with the trailer hitch I purchased. It was very easy to transfer the ball from my 2" hitch and voila I am now ready to haul my trailer.

seems to be well built, haven't used it yet. Thought I would be pulling a pontoon trailer, but it fell through and have never used the tow and stow ball mount.

Using this hitch on my Expedition and LandCruiser. A standard hitch caused my 12 ft utility trailer to not ride level when towed behind either truck. Since my trucks have different ride heights, the B&W hitch allows me to get the perfect drop for each truck. Trailer responds much better to road issues level as opposed to angled behind the truck. Additionally, its rating exceeds both of the trucks’ towing capabilities, so I have the hitch I need for the future as I have plans for a heavier trailer down the road. Quality and fitment of the hitch is excellent.

My Mini Cooper is lowered and this unit really helped level out the trailer I am pulling. The product is heavy and solid. I would definitely recommend this item

Heavy duty! I was a little bummed when I found out how much more difficult it was to find a half inch pin for this, but no matter. It is a tad loose inside the hitch, so there's a little rattle, but I doubt it's as noticable as I make it seem. Super classy and a welcome change from the typical draw bar style. The Extra Long Ball Mount proved useful immediately upon receipt. The extended length facilitated use with a Swagman bicycle rack, also purchased via etrailer.com. I like the look of this set very much and it is easy to mount and adjust the ball mount. The workmanship and finish are beautiful. Customer service was excellent in assuring I found the correct mount for my Ford Escape. I pull my 6'x10' utility trailer or very seldom my pontoon trailer. I like that the adjustable mount comes off very easily as I remove it until I need it while my vehicle is in the garage--it helps prevent knocking your leg against it in the garage. However, I am not having any luck loosening the bolt that secures the 2 chrome balls to the adjustable ball mount; I have the correct Allen wrench but cannot exert sufficient torque to loosen the bolt while the adjustable ball holder is off the ball mount. I want to put a different ball combination on so I can pull my son's trailer, which has a smaller ball than comes with the set, if I have to. I also added the anti-rattle device and it stops the mount completely.

Solid product that I look forward to using. It's appearance in the bright polished aluminum almost makes it too beautiful to use! The adjustable height settings will surely meet the requirement for any trailer that I'll ever haul. With a 39.25" upper wheel well from the ground measurement, the adjustable ball mount gives me a 16-to-21in measurement from the ground to the top of ball.

Overly tight on the receiver end bit functions as intended.

I am an infrequent trailer user, but getting my daughter home from college was necessary in March. This drawbar fits my hitch and utility trailer well, did exactly what it is supposed to do, and was the last thing to be concerned about right then. I have a '11 Mini Countryman S with a Class II receiver from Mini Fini, (which cost twice as much as a Curt) where the hole is flush with the fake grille near the bottom of the bumper cover, so I needed the long bar to reach out past the bumper. The Curt receiver for that car hangs visible underneath the bumper (ugly), which also increases the lever arm on the receiver beam and would have needed an even taller rise. (Curt take note!) All just part of the kit to create an occasional 1 ton pickup out of my Mini, leaving the "bed" at home most of the time.

works well brings the trailer tongue up to level. I have it on an EV so the raddle is annoying, because I just keep on forgetting to buy a anti rattler.

This is very sturdy hitch. It is made of solid steel, not tubing. It will be used on my Mazda RX-3 to tow my car dolly to the RV lot where I will swap everything around and the car will end up on the dolly behind my RV.

All equipment was delivered on time. Hitch, wiring harness, receiver and ball. Watched video's on installation of harness and hitch. Went down to my garage and installed both with the help of my girlfriend. Very satisfied with the products and the installation. etrailer supplied the goods and the knowledge. Worked perfectly. Super easy installation and it carried a U-haul 5x8 trailer 1000 miles with almost full capacity on tow-limits. A little disappointed that the connecting rod doesn't fit perfectly into the receiver hitch. So, when there is no weight on the ball mount, it is wobbly and makes an annoying metal-to-metal clinking noise whenever you go over a ditch. You can easily correct it with a piece of cardboard stuffing for cushioning or just take it off when not it use. Great piece of equipment, works perfectly! Super happy with the purchase.

Everything arrived pretty quick and the install wasn't too difficult for 1 person (would've helped to have an extra set of hands). Took a couple tries to line everything up and realize that certain brackets needed to be unbolted before the hitch would align (tow hook on passenger side, and a couple near the rear driver's side exhaust hanger). Minimal trimming required for the underside of the rear bumper plastic on the driver's side to make room on an 05 wrx wagon. Also needed at least 1 extra long exhaust hanger (kartboy) for the rear to make everything level with my 3" turbo back APS exhaust. Haven't gotten a chance to tow with it yet, but it feels solid.

I have two of these. My first I bought two years ago. I very highly recommend this Curt Class III Ballmount 2" Drop because of its price, durability and quality. I towed various class 3 loads with ease and confidence with this ballmount. It slides into the hitch and does its job without fail. It looks excellent after towing a load. etrailer's price is about as good as it gets and delivery is very speedy.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

Great product. Fit and finish is excellent. I've mounted the Curt 1 1/4" hitch to my 2007 Mazdaspeed3. Taking the rear bumper off, which only took 30 minutes (maybe a few minutes more than that) made it very easy to attach the Curt hitch to the car. I wanted to compliment the Mazdaspeed3's overall appearance, so, I decided to go with the Curt euro ball mount 11 3/4" . Very pleased with the outcome.

This worked out to be the perfect ball and mount for my purpose- occasionally having to use my car to tow my utility trailer. I got this and the DrawTite receiver hitch for my '99 Monte Carlo and everything went together in less time than the estimated time that had been shown. Very happy with both purchases!

Perfectly as described, Box was a heavy hitch and the box must have been damaged in shipping so it was a little delayed. You can't mess up a forged hitch it still is in excellent condition.

I bought this to use it for the 3 inch rise it provided. I have a lowered truck and towing my car carrier would prove to be difficult at times. The 3 inch raised that this provided made the trailer stay in a more manageable position. The heavy solid metal construction is of extremely high-quality. I would not have any hesitation towing something at the rated 16,000 pound capacity.
