It's the Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B. It secures bikes by the frame and can handle up to 60 pounds per bike. The threaded hitch pin prevents sway with an anti-rattle bolt, which is a must when travelling on the highway. The tightening down is by use of knobs and ratchet straps, making it a very easy setup.

Saw the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and the Kuat NV 2.0. Would either of these work? and what is the price difference for between these 2 items. Finally—any other recommendations? Thanks

When comparing the Kuat Sherpa 2.0, part # SH22G, and the NV 2.0, part # NV22G, there is a key difference between these two (among others) that applies to your situation: the Sherpa 2.0 can only handle bikes up to 40 pounds while the NV 2.0 can handle bikes up to 60 pounds. Obviously, the Sherpa 2.0 will not work for your bikes while the NV 2.0 can. I still recommend going with the Saris Freedom, though. It has two advantages over the NV 2.0 for you: 1) It secures bikes by a sliding cradle. Since the Pedego has some strange frames, the Freedom will have an easier time attaching to your bike. 2) It is currently the more economical choice between the two.
