Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Fast Wave flash force adjustable two-ball mount for your two-inch trailer hitch receiver. So obviously this is an adjustable dual ball mount that's designed to help make your towing different trailers a whole lot easier, a whole lot more convenient. So instead of swapping out different ball mounts every time, all you have to do is switch to the ball that you're going to need on this hitch. So this comes with a two and 5/16th inch and a two-inch ball.
And just to show you how easy this is going to be to switch ball sizes, I'm gonna remove this clip and pin. That's going to allow me to freely rotate the ball so I can swap that to my two-inch ball or back to my two and 5/16th inch. Once you get that ball size that you need, obviously you're gonna replace the pin and the clip to secure that ball into place. In terms of capacity, if you use the two-inch ball, this is gonna be able to tow up to 8,000 pounds. If you use the two and 5/16th inch ball, up to 10,000 pounds.
Again, this is gonna slide into your two-inch receiver. The hitch balls are chrome-plated, so that's gonna help prevent rust and corrosion. So they're gonna hold up well over time. This is adjustable, obviously, and it's gonna be easy to get that height that you're looking for. So again, gonna remove the clips and the pins.
And so that's going to allow me to move that ball platform up and down in one-inch increments. This is gonna give you up to about a three and a half inch rise. If you flip the shank over or over onto the other side here, you're gonna get that three and a half inch rise. But in this orientation, this is gonna give you about a three-inch drop. So it's gonna be easy to keep your trailer level regardless of the setup.
Obviously, you'll replace the pins and clips when you find that correct height. Another big feature here is, this is stowable. So you'll just flip this underneath the shank like this. Now obviously, this doesn't fit with the balls like this. What you'll wanna do is remove the pin and the clip and you can make the balls lateral instead of up and down. And that will allow you to have that clearance that you need. So this will fit underneath and then you'll just replace the pins and the clips here to keep that in the stowed position. So that's going to help protect the mount from damage and then probably more importantly, keep it outta your way so you're less likely to bang up your shins when you're walking behind your truck. So that's a great feature. I'm gonna go ahead and see if I can line this up here real quick. My pins and clips. Line up the holes. And what I like too is, there's some ball mounts that I've used where the pins don't slide in easy, but that's not gonna be a problem with this. The pins slide in very easily. You're not gonna be struggling at the back of your truck to get that height adjustment that you're looking for. So again, convenience is going to be really key here. So just getting my holes lined up here. There we go. And I'm gonna replace this one as well. Now in terms of build quality, this whole unit is made from solid forged steel. So it's going to hold up really well for you. It has this black corrosion-resistant coating. It's going to protect it. So overall, this is built to handle heavy-duty towing and this does feature an anti-theft design. So when you use this with locking hitch pins that are sold separately from this, the ball mount can't be removed from the hitch. Now I took some measurements before our time together. If you measure from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting pretty close to nine and 3/8th inches. From the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 10 and a half inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about two and 3/8th inches. Now if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out.
