Changing Ball Height and Replacing Balls
To adjust the height of the ball, remove the included pins so that you are able to slide the ball platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Re-insert the pins once you have found the correct height. Switching the hitch ball is just as easy. Simply remove the pins holding the ball platform in place and slide the platform off of the shank. Flip the platform upside down so that the ball you want to use is on top. Then slide the ball platform back onto the shank and replace the pins and clips.

Great company to deal with, accidentally ordered the wrong side 2 1/2”, should have been 2”. No issues, called and got it swapped.
When reviewing, I try to review as to what was described and what I expected. People that compare one product to another will usually find disappointment.
With that being said, this exceeded my expectations. The build quality of this is great. It is the heaviest receiver I have personally lifted which tells me it is built with some strong, heavy metal. The finish is glossy and smooth with no burs to snag your hands.
The balls are integrated into the unit which seems to make this feel more solid and you don't have to worry about a crescent wrench to tighten or loosen them.
The adjustability of this unit is easy, by pulling the two pins, it can be moved up and down to the height described.
I personally bought this unit for my 2018 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4 5.5' bed 3.5L ecoboost w/3.55 gears and max tow pkg. I can safely tow 12,800 lbs. with my truck and so this unit will be perfect for towing 10,000 lbs. since it is rated for 12k. I plan to use this to tow a 3k lbs dump trailer with a 7k lb load for a total of 10k lbs.
I feel this unit is the best receiver you can buy for the money. Yes there are other brands that market to different people and there are diff features on other units that look neat. However, at the end of the day, all I needed was something to keep my trailer attached to my truck and this unit will do so at the lowest price available.

Quality ball hitch I use to pull various trailers. I am able to get my trailers level after installing a small lift on my truck.

No complaints on this great hitch. It will handle most jobs and its interchangeable between vehicles as its adjustability is outstanding. Its a solid hitch and I use a locking pin with mine because Id like to keep it as long as possible.

Nice hitch, easy to adjust and change ball size. This replace a hitch that used a key to remove or adjust height. Key no longer worked, had to destroy the hitch to remove.
has held up well. I use the hitch in the elevated position as my boat trailer wouldn't clear the break in elevation of my driveway.

its been a year and the hitch is functioning well. At 7 inches of lift, it gave me enough lift to maneuver my 30 ft boat trailer up my driveway without bottoming out. good product.
Bought this to use behind my class A motorhome to pull a dolly with my van on. Works great, good construction for the price. I would definitely recommend someone to buy it.
After 3 months. The ball is loose with no way to tighten it. I’ve resently sent in a question to the experts a etrailer. I’ll post there response. I wouldn’t recommend this hitch. Moving parts break under pressure. As for ask the experts. I’ll let u decide
Just received the hitch on Friday and it is even more heavy duty than I was expecting. I have not had a chance to put on the truck yet. Normal shipping only took 2 days for me which is outstanding.

Nice hitch. The two ball gives you options for size. Sturdy and works like it should.
Fantastic hitch for the price. Very solid. I use it to pull a dump trailer full of rocks
(About 4000 - 5000lbs at a time) with no problems at all. Easily compares to hitches twice its price.
Also when I ordered this hitch it was back ordered for several weeks. Etrailer sent me regular emails informing me of the status. They kept me informed the entire time.

Had this for Ayr now and it's a very well made strong hitch. I pull a 20 foot cargo trailer with 2 Harleys and a RZR. We got about 30k miles on her with this much weight and looks like we just bought it.

Now that it has been a year since I started using this, I can report it lives up to all my expectations. I have not had any problems thus far and would still recommend. I used this to haul 130 tons of gravel for a pad I build obviously 10-13k lbs at a time but multiple daily uses on all kind of terrains. I would buy this again if mine was lost or stolen. I realize there are other brands that have the big name, or fancy features, but if you want a functional heavy duty ball and hitch then this is the best for the money.
