Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Optronics chrome base. Now this is a surface mount chrome base that will enhance the appearance of your MCL70 and STL69 series ultra thin and thin line LED lights. This is gonna be great for use with the models that you see on the screen there. So if you have any of those, this is going to just add some extra, enhance the appearance, make it look extra nice for you. And just to give you a few measurements here, you can see this is going to be 16 5/16 of an inch long by about 1 5/8 of an inch wide.

So if you are wanting to help enhance the appearance of those ultra thin, thin line LED lights, now this is gonna be a great way to go. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

This bezel fits Optronics brand STL69 lights. From the photo you provided, your light has a pointed end instead of a blunt rounded end like Optronics brand lights. I also do not see “OPTRONICS” molded into the lens.

The part is just a chrome ring for a Optronics light.
What could I say about that? it works and looks great.
Personally I think it should come with the light. but I guess the light could be installed without it.

  • Installation of the Sealed, Thin Line, Over 80" LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light, Part # STL69RCB
    This particular lamp is meant to be used in pairs, one on each side of the rear of the trailer. The red wire on the drivers side lamp is meant to connect to the yellow wire from the trailer connector, and on the passenger side lamp the red wire connects to the green wire from the trailer connector. The black wire on each would connect to the brown wire from the trailer connector and the white wire on each lamp would be grounded to the trailer. A chrome bezel, part # A69CB is also offered.

    The Sealed, Thin Line tail light # STL69RCB does not require a specific orientation. Some lights do and the ones that have this requirement will say either horizontal or vertical in both the part titles and the descriptions. With that said you will still need to mount the light so that it is facing rearward and not up or down at an angle. They are easier to see if mounted horizontally so that is what I recommend.
