Video Transcript for Review of Lock N Roll A-Frame Trailer Coupler - Standard Couplers - LR76VR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Lock N Roll. It's a 50 degree A-frame coupler with the included jack hole, and it's an adjustable channel-bolted operation. Folks, rated at 11,000 pounds max gross trailer weight, this channel bracket has three mounting positions, so you see four holes, but obviously two bolts for each mount. No hardware included.

You should already have that. If you don't, you can purchase some separately here or at a local hardware store. And this is made to tow your trailer nice and level. And then whenever it's attached to your channel-mounted Lock N Roll coupler, your lunette ring, clevis hitch, or ball coupler, this will make a great connection. And as I mentioned when we started, this does have the built-in cutout here for the jack, and that's your standard size for the trailer jacks as well.

It's a nice heavy-duty steel construction. Again, it's a raw finish, 'cause 9 times outta 10, you're either gonna bolt it some place on your trailer frame or most likely weld it. And if you are bolting it, you're gonna need to drill additional horizontal bolt holes. And even if you're welding it, you may wanna drill some holes just to stiffen it up as well, it's totally up to you, or to the fabrication shop, weld shop that you take it to if you're not welding it yourself. So again, folks, a 50 degree A-frame trailer, 11,000 pounds rated, 1,100 pounds tongue weight, it's a three inch, which is our standard channel width.

The holes are 5/8 inch diameter holes, and you have two inches even center on center on those mounting holes. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at this Lock N Roll 50 degree A-frame coupler. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.

Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track here, and all three parts you listed are compatible with each other. The Lock N Roll 50-Degree A-Frame Coupler # LR76VR has a 3" wide adjustable channel with 5/8" holes spaced 2" apart on center. The Lock N Roll Trailer-Side Coupler # 336TS502 is designed for that same 3" channel and uses the same 2" hole spacing, so those two will bolt together exactly like you are wanting. On the truck side, the Lock N Roll Vehicle-Side Hitch...

  • Parts Needed To Switch Trailer From Standard Ball Coupler To Pintle Hitch System
Hello David, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to switch your trailer over to a lunette ring/pintle hitch system. Basically you will need to replace your current A-frame coupler with a channel coupler like part # LR76VR. This will allow you to install a lunette ring like part # DM09557-81. Then for the truck side you will just need a ball mount that accepts a lunette ring. The Curt Pintle Hook # C45908 would work great for that. It has an adjustable height channel and it can work...
