Secure, Two-Piece Jaw

Q24 Two-Piece Jaw

Unlike slide-bar models, the rounded, two-piece jaw on this fifth-wheel trailer hitch inhibits rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin, resulting in easier hookup and a safer, quieter ride.

Three-Point Indicator System

Get peace of mind with Curt's color-coded lock indicator. Just look at the indicator - either the one on the handle or the one on the hitch itself - to determine whether the jaw is in the correct position to uncouple (red), couple (yellow) or tow (green).

Q24 Color Indicator System

360-Degree Pivot

Curt's unique spherical axial bearing provides a durable pivot point that allows easy, 360-degree movement of the hitch head. This ball joint is designed for smooth, quiet operation with less clunking and chucking.

Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford F150

Hello everybody, this is Jeff for etrailer.com. Today we take a look at the Curt custom fifth wheel bracket kit for your Ford F-150 trucks. Now this is a custom fit kit, this is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Ford F150 trucks and on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this'll work for your application. Now, these brackets will Mount beneath your truck bed and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. The rails is what allow you to attach the fifth wheel to the vehicle. This does require the Curt base rails, part number C16104 or part number C16204.

Both of those items, we do sell separately on our website. I happened to pull one of those parts and this happens to be one of the rails. The rails you'll buy, they come in a set of two, but basically these rails, is what will attach to these brackets. So once these brackets are installed under the bed and then inside the bed of your rails will be installed, and it has the slots for your fifth wheel to fit into. But again, we sell those separately on our website.

So these brackets here provide a nice custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicles frame. This will help minimize the amount of drilling that's required and it cuts the installation time in half when compared with just a universal bracket kit, and this kit will include everything laid out here on the table. It's all the necessary hardware you need, all the brackets you need and even up front here, it comes with this galvanic isolator kit. And what that is, is on vehicles that have an aluminum bed like the Ford F-150. It is required that all steel components be isolated from the aluminum by using this galvanic isolator kit.

And in the instructions it does show you where to install that. This is designed to work with Curt Draw-Tite Reese and Husky fifth wheel hitches, but that should do it for the review on this Curt custom fifth wheel bracket kit for the Ford F-150 trucks..

You'd then want to use the hitch to place the front rail so that everything matches up perfectly. This is actually same dimensions to use regardless of truck bed length.
