3-1/4" Diameter round. Waterproof trailer light mounts near your coupler to make it easier to see when you're hitching up to your tow vehicle. Durable polycarbonate lens and housing. Flange mount - hardware not included. 3-Wire pigtail.

Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Surface-mount lights install flat against the surface of the trailer, so a hole does not need to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Optronics LED Trailer Utility or Hitch Light. This round trailer light mounts wherever you need a little extra light. You can mount it near your trailer's coupler to make it easier to see when you're hitching up to your vehicle. It does feature a sonically sealed design, so it's completely waterproof when it comes to the housing and lens, so it is submersible. It features durable surface-mount technology when it comes to the construction of LED circuit board. That better withstands shock and vibration, and allows for improved heat distribution. Now, at the end of the video, I hook it up to power. I'm going to show you what it looks like with power running to it, and with our overhead lights turned off, but I do want to mention that this is a LED system.
LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.Again, nice durable lens. It's a polycarbonate lens and housing. It's strong and durable.
This one offers white and blue LEDs with a clear lens. It's a three-wire pigtail, so your white wire is your ground wire. Black wire is the power wire for the white LEDs. Blue wire is the power wire for the blue LEDs.It mounts directly on the surface of the trailer. You've got three mount holes.
Mounting hardware not included, but it does have that built-in flange. Also, if you want to add a clean, finished look to the unit, you can purchase a snap-on trim ring that is sold separately. It can be added to give it a finished look. When it comes to the overall measurements, I'll start it with the overall diameter. Edge to edge, that's 3-1/4". And as you can see here, it's a nice low-profile unit.
If I place that, get that and measure up to this point here, we're looking at a thickness of about 1/2", so a nice low-profile design. The actual light face has a diameter of 3".We're going to go and hook it up to power. That way, we can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Again, white wire is our ground wire. Black wire is for the white LEDs, and then the blue wire is for the blue LEDs. Now, before I hook that up, I do just want to go over some other specs for you real quick. This has a total of nine diodes, so six of them are white, three are blue. Light output is 151 lumens. Power draw 12.8 volts is 0.114 amps. Now, there's a couple different ways that you can wire this. Again, the black wire is for the white LEDs. Blue wire is for the blue LEDs. You could wire them together, so that way, when the light comes on, it's a mix of blue and white LEDs. You could wire it to where it's just the white LEDs. You could wire it to where it's just the blue LEDs. Also, you could wire the other color to a switch, so that way, when you activate a switch, the white LEDs kick on, and then the other way applies as well. You could wire the blue LEDs to a switch. That way, when the switch is activated, the blue LEDs kick on. So, there's a lot of different ways.Again, you have white LEDs, blue LEDs, three-wire design. White wire is ground, blue wire is for the three blue LEDs, black wire is for the six white LEDs.Optronics also puts a lifetime warranty on their LEDs.That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics LED Trailer Utility or Hitch Light.

This is my second pair. After about 4 years and multiple boat launches half the lifts went out
Products are ALWAYS as advertise. Etrailer service is the best.
Great reverse light.... really bright and easy to mount and wire for the do it yourselfers.
Great lights very bright perfect for reverse lights on my trailer rebuild
Good unit for the money and purpose served (reverse light on ATV). Lighting was good as well - as bright as I wanted.
World class lights. Waterproof and bright!! Will buy again for sure. 4 screws and one hole for wires. My application is back up lights for a trailer.
I have a 91 Dodge dually that had the old incandescent bulb marker lights and change them out to these LED lights the light is really bright looks good, good price, fast shipping & I attach the picture so you can see what the truck looks like
These are very good lights. I just mounted a pair of these below my brake/turn lights on my enclosed trailer, and they work very well. Now I'll be able see when parking the trailer at night, and people will actually know I'm trying to back up now.
Great product. Just installed tonight on my 2011 Nitro Z-7 Trailer. Looks great and very bright. Thanks for a great product and delivery.
I just installed them on my Freightliner MDT as backup lights. Installed 4 of these. They work just as they should. The hole pattern was exactly the same as with the old lights.
I purchased four of these lights for backup lights. Two for my ranch hand bumper and two for my headache rack. They throw a great amount of light for $20. I have plans to put them on a switch with a relay so they will work in reverse and on a switch. Good construction and great company to order from.
I installed two of these lights in the rear bumper of my truck for reverse lights. They are not quite as bright as I was expecting but still pretty darn bright. I used these lights with part number A45CB pigtails and the rubber grommets (A70GB) for my install. Everything arrived on time and ready to use. Overall I am very pleased with these lights.
I mounted the lights on the rear bumper of my travel trailer. I ran the wire into a storage compartment that had 12VDC. I connected to the power and added a rocker switch. The lights are very bright and the price was good. Can't wait to go camping and put these lights to work. I added a voice activated remote control: when backing up, I yell out the window "Hey Honey, go turn on the backup lights". Hasn't worked yet.
These I think are going to work awesome. Haven't tested it in the water yet, but as far as brightness these will light up the darkest boat ramp. Installed on the back of boat trailer for night time launch/load, and wired into my reverse lights. Highly recommend if your looking for a great backup light.
Although labeled as a utility light, I mounted it on the rear quarter panel of our cube truck on both left and right sides to illuminate the side or rear tire area that the two back up lights could not reach. The design was exactly what we were looking for as it was a surface mounted light with only a small 1 inch hole that needed to be drilled dead center for wire placement. We used some three-quarter inch by number eight panhead stainless screws and soldered connections with heat shrink tubing to complete the installation. Ordering was easy and shipping was lightning quick. Thank you very much!
These illuminate adequately for what I purchased them for. Brighter would be better but they help take some of the guesswork out of backing up in the dark. I’d say they light up as well as my truck’s reverse lights. These are mounted on our 20’ boat trailer.
Excellent!
After a long while of trying to find a comparable replacement on that A site, I found etrailer.com. They had an exact match to the light that was originally on my trailer. The installation was simple and now I have two matching lights again and one neither is flooded with water.
Theses were replacement lights for an entertainment center due to some of the lights in each unit were burned out. These were different only by the number of actual lights in the units. Physical size , etc was the same. Ordering was very easy and delivery was very quick. Installation was a snap since I already had the grommets; simply unplug the old ones & plug-in the new ones. They look & work great.
I attached two of these clear utility lights to each aft side of my boat trailer. They are wired to the backup lights on the truck. This gives me excellent lighting when backing down my curving driveway. Clear utility lights are much brighter than regular backup lights and allow me to see the driveway even on the darkest nights.
Had to special order this light from etrailer which they were very good about and it came as ordered. Easy to install, wire and worked great, it was the exact match to the other light on the front of my Wildcat camper.
