Has been a year since I had the DEMCO slide hitch installed in my 1500 Dodge Ram Eco Diesel. Can't say enough good things about how well this 5th wheel hitch performs. I like that one doesn't have to get different catch plates for each trailer, just remember to loose those plates up before loading. Load up the trailer and away you go. Never have to worry about those turns in your short bed pickup again. It may be a bit more spendy and a bit heavier, but well worth it. Going to move it to my new Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, so all I need to get are new rails.
