Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today we can take a look at the etrailer 15-foot long ratcheting tie-down straps with the 'S' hooks. Has a 700-pound working load limit. Now these heavy duty tie-down straps will let you secure the cargo in your truck, better to your trailer. They do use a nice sturdy ratchet mechanism here. If we zoom in, we can go talk about it.
Makes it very easy to tighten down the strap and maintain tension on the strap. You can see (metal clicking) it's very easy to ratchet, pulls in your strap. If you look at the handle on this, does have a nice (metal clicking) wide hard rubber handle. Gives you a nice good grip even if you have gloves on. And then the release lever right down here has a hard rubber edge to it and that release lever will disengage your ratchet when you're ready to unload or load.
Basically, right now it's in the ratchet position, but if you pull up on this and put it all the way down that way, if you notice I pull the strap, it'll let you free wheel that strap so you can pull out as much as you need, hook it up to over your cargo. Once you get it all hooked up and just flip it back into the ratchet position. (metal clicking) And you can see just like that, you can ratchet it tight. Now the hooks that are on each end, they are these vinyl-coated 'S' hooks. They have the spring loaded keeper you can see right here.
That'll help keep the straps attached to your anchor points. And the whole black portion of that is the whole 'S' hook is vinyl coated. Helps prevent your gear from being scratched when you attach this. Now the webbing on this, it is a two-inch wide durable polyester webbing. Sort of a seatbelt material.
It is abrasion-resistant. Has a nice bright yellow color to it, so it makes it very easy to see in the day or the night. Now this part here is a quantity of two ratchet straps. The dimensions again on the strap is two-inches wide, 15-feet in length. Now the maximum load or break strength on each strap is 2100 pounds. The safe-working load limit, which would be a third of that, is 700 pounds. And if you notice it does have a tag on it that'll tell you 700 pounds (metal thudding) working load limit. Just so you know. Now, one note I do wanna mention is that these tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. So it means the weight of your secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So just to give an example of that, if you're using straps that have a working load limit, let's say of 500 pounds each, and you're tying down a load weighing a thousand pounds, then of course you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load. And it is always recommended that you use straps in pairs. Now this is for a quantity of two straps. If you do just need a single strap to add to what you already have, we do sell it as a quantity of one. It's part number E72JR. Or if you need more, we do sell this also as a quantity of four. And it comes with a nice storage bag. And that's part number E92NR. Both of those are listed on the product page as a related product. But that's gonna do it for the review on the etrailer 15-foot long ratcheting tie-down straps with the 'S' hooks and a 700-pound working load limit.
