For your 2018 Ram 1500 I highly recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034. This is an excellent hitch that features an automatic slider to provide you with the needed cab clearance during sharp turns without having to actually get out of your truck. It also has a premium wraparound single-piece jaw for a secure connection with the trailer. It has an 18,000 pound towing weight capacity and 14 inches of front to back travel with the slider.
For a base rail kit the Demco # DM8552030-71 will work perfectly. This includes the base rails needed to mount the hitch and all the required mounting hardware to install them on your Ram.
