What happens during a breakaway? Will this system bring my vehicle to a stop?

Yes, Phil, it’s built for exactly that. The Shadow 2 # RVi94FR has a dedicated breakaway switch that mounts to the front of your towed vehicle. If the cable gets pulled, the system activates and pulls on the brake pedal using compressed air from the booster box. You’ll get full braking power automatically, even if your coach loses connection. Just make sure you test the breakaway after installation, it’s the final step in setup, and keep an eye on the green/yellow/red LED indicators to make sure it’s working correctly before each trip.
