Hello Ken, thanks for reaching out. Both of the kits you mentioned, the Timbren # TGMRCK25D and # TGMRTT35D are correct for your 2020 Chevy 2500. The difference is the 25D is a standard duty kit, while the 35D is a severe service kit.

The severe service kits are intended for vehicles with a constant heavy load in the bed like a truck bed camper, or salt spreader. They are designed to be constantly loaded.

The standard duty kit is more suited for towing applications like travel trailers or 5th wheels.

What are you planning on hauling/ needing these for?

@KenC For that I recommend the # TGMRCK25D. You do not need the severe service kit. Have you thought about adding an air bag kit to the rear axle? I know it is harder to install, but adding an air bag kit would allow you to fine tune your suspension for each trailer. Then you can get back to the factory ride when you aren't towing. The Firestone # F2613 is what I would recommend for your 2020 Chevy 2500. The Timbrens will help add a lot of support, but you might notice some differences in ride quality depending on what trailer you are pulling.
