Best Airbags for a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 With Factory Prep Package

Question:
Good morning, Im considering air bags for a 2018 Chevy 3500HD SRW used for towing a 25foot gooseneck flatbed as well as hauling a 3200# truck camper. The camper puts more weight on the truck than the trailer and expect would benefit more from the air bags. Looking at both part # AL57538 and Firestone F2609. For my application would one of these be noticeably better than the other? Do they both fit with the factory installed gooseneck package? Because the 3500HD has the factory overload springs do air bags still help with the ride? Thank you,

For your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2609 over the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538. The Firestone Red Label airbags will do an excellent job of helping to support your truck bed camper or gooseneck trailer. They have a 7,500 lb weight capacity which will work better for you because you are going to be using an in-bed camper which will add more weight over the rear axle than with a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. The air pressure inside the bags is adjustable so you don't have to worry about the ride being too stiff.
There will not be any issues using this system with the factory prep package as the airbags mounts underneath the frame rail and the prep package for your truck mounts inside the frame rails. In regards to your factory overload leaf springs, they will help to support the added weight over your rear suspension but odds are it will still sag with the truck bed camper so I do recommend airbags.
In order to take full control of the airbags you will want to use an air compressor system as this will allow you to adjust the airbags on the fly so you can always have the perfect amount of support/comfort. In order to achieve this I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System part # AL74000. The WirelessAIR in particular is nice because it uses a wireless remote to control the inflation valves so you don't have to run any wires/lines into the cab.
I have attached an install video of the airbags for you on a truck with the factory prep package.
