Question:
Hi I am looking at the options for the 2020 Honda civic trailer hitch. I see there are two options and I’m just wondering what the difference between the drawtite and the curt hitch are.

Hey Ian,
There's really not much of a difference between the Curt # C92UR and Draw-Tite # 24954 since they both have the same exact fitment and gloss finish. Personally, I prefer Curt's hitches because these are all shipped by the manufacturer on a pallet and can get dinged or scratched up being transported around and Curt's paint seems to hold up and not chip likely Draw-Tite's does. The Curt also has a lip on the end of the receiver tube so that you can use an anti-rattle device like the # RM-061-125, unlike the Draw-Tite which doesn't have the lip needed to make this work.
Are you just hauling around a bike rack or do you plan on towing a small trailer as well? If you want to tow a trailer or add lights to a bike rack/cargo carrier then you'll also want to pick up the Tekonsha # 118686 (sedan) or Curt # C59236 (hatchback).
If you need anything else just let me know below and I'd be happy to help.

I’m planning on using it to tow either a dirt bike or motorcycle on a small trailer. Most likely a 4x8 trailer.
